    Regarding the Akkaev ak47 video.
    Judging by the cars, bmw donuts and dress shirt he was wearing I am certain it was a wedding. Slavic nations have a custom of shooting guns at weddings, some even detonate hand grenades. Depends what grandpa saved from the war.

    • @user-qj9ye1uv8g
      @user-qj9ye1uv8g Год назад +20

      Caucasus actually, specifically in the North Caucasus from Kabardino Balkaria.
      There are no slavs (native) from the Caucasus, and guns at weddings are generally rarer across the Russian nation aside from the aformentioned North Caucasus republics and peoples who are inside the Federation - that is where almost all the videos you see online come from.
      A lot of weaponry is either spillover from recent wars, smuggled in from other neighboring regions, or "traumatic pistols/guns" which are legal firearms to carry that shoot less-than-lethal projectiles - but are sometimes modified to function as real firearms that shoot live ammo.

      I don't think I would call him a celebrity on the level of their star track athletes/swimmers and other athletes. He's in some ads and maybe semi-known? Probably 90% of China doesn't even know what weightlifting is. There is no culture of drug use/acceptance in China either (among its citizenry, not in sports) so I'm sure he will lose sponsorships unless he's somehow vindicated in a later test. Lu in China is not a situation like say Nurudinov in Uzbekistan where he was a household name, recognized on the streets, got popped, and is still a beloved celebrity.

      @@slowfuse simple breakdown: it’s got a volume phase, a strength phase, and a peaking phase that collectively take ~10 weeks? Volume phase is what I’m in and it’s great practice for form, learning some new movements, and getting me bigger muscles so I have higher capacity to increase strength.
      It’s only 20 bucks or so and comes from a world class athlete. Clarence is a no bullshit guy. He isn’t trying to sell you supps or tell the world he is natty. Just a humble, honest, athlete. Definitely recommend

      @@slowfuse it’s RPE based btw. So far has had a pretty decent pacing for me. Only 4 workouts a week too which is nice

    Nothing about Abadijev in US? Or Dimas being the coach of US WL team?
