Yeah Jin is definitely a belter. Also there is no performance in front of crowd for this because this was during the pandemic and they usually sing their Japanese songs when they’re performing in Japan so their recent Japanese songs don’t have a performance in front of an audience

Thanks for your reaction- definitely check out "Your Eyes Tell," yet another Japanese piece, and it's incredible because each member of the vocal line sings the same melodic line and you can really distinguish the differences in their vocal quality and technique!

I love the message of this song, the lyrics are beautiful as is the music, and of course BTS killed it. This song reminds me to keep going, no matter how rough it is, how dark things are, there are still beautiful things in the world and you just have to hold on and never give up. I listen to it a lot. I heard Jimin in a number of places in that lyric video where they didn’t show him as singing, so I’m not sure it was accurate. His voice is distinctive so I’m pretty confident it was him. And my fav moment in the whole video is at the end with Jimin and JK. They harmonize very well. All of their duets are fire. As are V and Jimin’s duets. I hope you listen to “Your Eyes Tell” - it’s another one where their lives are just them either sitting or standing and it is a beautiful, beautiful song. It’s one of my fav OSTs and JK has credits on it. I think they did it in the same program as the live in this video where they are singing with the tree. Honestly, I think this song is way under appreciated. Enjoying your reactions a lot.
Not to mention the bits where I could hear Jimin’s voice are literally what he sings when they’ve performed it live

Stay gold was releast during shut down for the pandemic. They specifically made it a light hearted upbeat song to raise people's spirits through the pandemic. It is a beautiful song!

Stay Gold is an amazing song. It actually came out during Covid, so it was a nice happy song telling us to stay positive.
ONE OF MY FAVORITE MUSIC VIDEOS! I love how the gold trail leads them to each other into this version of paradise. It’s also very cinematic and beautiful. This song live is just even more beautiful.

Edit: Stay Gold is not part of the BU, people use some clips to showcase it better but it’s not a part of it. Also Hobipalooza still lingers in my mind, I rewatch it every once in a while

@@dovet.3242 no, not really. The only fire thing that had been correlated to Jimin is him burning the photograph, but yoongi is the one with fire, Jimin is water (also blood too, which could also relate to tae)

This song like many of the Japanese songs doesn’t get enough love. It’s such a bright but dark song.
- Stay Gold is a stable on my motivational playlist. The chorus sticks to the brain like freakin glue! 😆
- It never seizes to amaze me how V is able to bring his baritone up so high. He really has a gorgeous voice. And Jin's sustained high notes are absolutely *chef's kiss*
- I actually recommended the first live performance to Meg but now, having seen the second performance for the first time, I think I have a new favorite so thank you to whomever recommended that one.

I agree with you about Jin. Personally, I would love to hear him sing some rock songs. I know he mentioned before that was one of his favorite genres too so I would love to see that side of him.
I love this song so much... when I started discovering BTS, this is actually the song that pushed me to the rabbit hole. It helped me push myself to stay sane working in the 4 corners of my room due to covid. then partnered it with Life Goes On... and I discovered Answer: Love Myself and of course Magic Shop which I became too deep into the hole. As you get deeper into their discography, there is no way out. But the thing is, I no longer look for a way out, I'll be with the tannies forever same as how I will always find comfort on their songs.
Jungkook & Yohei are credited on the chorus & background vocals. I’m not sure who Yohei is….maybe a Japanese artist.
Japanese releases hold such a special place in my heart! Most of them I was like "eh ok" on the first listen but with a few more they ascend to my absolute top favorite songs. There is just SOMETHING about them!

I wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your BTS reactions. I am an older ARMY and do not usually subscribe however, your reactions seem to be genuine and, being a musician yourself, you appreciate the talent of these wonderful guys. Like most, BTS found me in the lowest/deepest time in my life. After losing my husband suddenly, I had to relocate from the U.S. (after 23 years) back to my home country of Australia in the midst of the Covid pandemic and during my time alone in a government mandated hotel quarantine of 14 days it was BTS that kept me sane. I doubt there will ever be another group to match BTS and all they mean to so many people. I feel very fortunate to be able to witness this phenomenon. Please continue to do what you do best and I wish you every happiness for the future. 💜💜

Oh, that sounds so hard. BTS has been such a source of comfort to me too. Each member sings so perfectly and their voices blend so well.
As you said, it's impossible not to smile seeing them, they always pass a so special, positive energy.... it's like a miracle what Hitman Bang did... He choose seven special human beings, so talented, anyone on his particular way, He gave them tools to develop and share their talents and develop those they didn't even know they had. Gave them tools to learn how to live together, how to solve the struggles or at least how to controll it to not achieve a breaking point.
Yeah, the stars, the universe, God, who knows, were at our advantage when these eight man (Bang PD and BTS) met. Don't you think?

If you do the BU… good luck. It’s extremely complicated and intricate. People literally do whole studies and deep research for it. They do frame by frame for the content so they don’t miss anything. They reread the notes and the webtoon to analyze it. Those are the hardcore BU armies.
Armies still get confused on it and it’s not finished yet, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t understand it or get confused

Yes, there will be a lot of performances without a crowd due to the pandemic. But they still kept ARMY well fed! “Map of the Soul 7” in Feb 2020, right when things were shutting down. (So no tour for this album at all.) The “Be” Album was released in Nov 2020 as they pivoted to share their feelings through music. A lot of award show performances, late night talk show performances, etc.
Beautiful song and excellent performance of all boys,wonderful voices,personally I think that JIN’s voice stands out,it is powerful,control of the high notes and their transition to the middle,but the main thing us the feeling that he transmits to ys when he sing,it reaches our soul,even if the song is funny,his performance make us smile and even laugh,of course he is not only a singer he is an excellent performer💜💜💜💜

This is one of my favs songs. There are two BTS quotes that makes part of my life: "Stay gold" and "If there's no way, let's draw the map, the whole map again, so no worries" 💜
I love how they were in dark, dim environments when they were alone, but when they were together their world became beautiful and bright. I feel like this could be a reference to their amazing brotherhood, but also that they were hoping that we all found our people who could bring us out of darkness to the light. They were so committed to being a hopeful place during the pandemic. I couldn't love these guys more if I tried.
15:16 Yeah there was a famous vocalist professional in korea forgot what exactly he said but he said something about Jin's vocal suit rock songs and songs with strong vocal projection and that he noticed when jin was live with bts and in some high notes and other notes he kind of control his strength if that makes sense? But alot of the people in the audience were confused because many people feel like Jin do more OST like softer songs and he did alot of OST (songs for dramas and movies) but I definitely think he do have the vocals with strong projection and that can do rock songs like that guy said that is if Jin himself wants but he is definitely capable that I think some people were surprised about

"Jin is loud". You reminded me, I watched a singer in a backyard recital kick the mike away because his projection was That Big. Every time you talk about what the singers are doing it brings up memories of what I saw and heard throughout my life. It makes me appreciate all that much how privileged I was to experience it. 💜👵

Yeah this was really cool🙄. I especially really liked the second one as well. Actually now that i think about it maybe sometimes you should do two live performances 😮. Cause you know, every live performance is so different from one another maybe you could watch two from time to time. Like if you want more or just want to see how a different one looks, and it could end up being even better than the first. For example some songs they do the choreo and others they do other activities or just run around the stage having fun. In such a reaction you could react to one where they do the chreo and one where they're just moving freely. Of course, that's up to you, but that idea just sounded like fun to me🙄😁💜
Everytime I listen to BTS and listen to other kpop idols. I always go back to BTS again.
In a few of your videos you've mentioned that Jin would be projecting really loudly if you were in a room with him. I find that very interesting because Jin is the only one of them who has had theatre/acting training and I think that is a big part of that. Pretty sure when you train for acting on stage, they teach you how to project your voice and that has probably bled over a lot into his singing voice.

Not like for other BTS vocal members, BigHit/Hybe has this ridiculously annoying bad habit of not giving a close shot of Jimin(always move away to shot other members or giving full group shots or even shooting far shots of whole concerts scene), whenever Jimin sang his beautiful & incredible high notes.
It is like they don’t want fans & people to notice those amazing high notes are actually from Jimin & they don’t want Jimin to also make strong impression as a genuinely gifted vocalist who has abilities to sing those gorgeous unbelievably clear high notes, since Jimin already has earned & solidified his name as ‘The best dancer of Kpop industry’, ‘The King of Kpop dancer’ & ‘The Kpop stage king’ & even ‘The top brand of Kpop idol(no.1 in 45 months record)’ for many years.
I mean, they couldn’t really hide, especially with Jimin’s unique, distinctive, one of a kind vocal sounds & full dedication of millions of Army & BTS fan’s who aways pay attention to every detailed about their beloved BTS & each every members!
Every video clips of utube that contain Jimin’s high notes close up scenes are all from Fan’s cam videos & if you search, you will hardly find any from BTS official videos!
Sorry, but that is how i also feel about Jin’s part especially in their let go song and their latest “For Youth”. So let us not just take matters personally.

I've watched J Hope at Lallapalooza like at least a dozen times.
I don't think it had anything to do with the BU. If it did the look and style was a little off from their other BU stuff. Most BU is more muted rather than darker if that makes sense.
Jimin has always been my favorite vocalist, but Jin recently has really been capturing my attention too.
