Africa is a band formed from musicians of different nationalities. Karim Ziad is an Algerian who works in Morocco including as artistic director of the festival of Essaouira. He collaborates with the Great MasterGnawi Hamid Kasri.

@Nouredb no Gnawa is Morrocan music because repertory of Gnawa speak about Morrocan Djin like Lala Aicha, Bacha Hamou, Lala Mira, Moulay Brahim ...........all djiins are from morocco and was human when they born in Morroco, you need to understand that gnawa become gnawa in Morocco before he dont exist. @Nouredb no it's not the same thing they look like the same but this is different, gnawa is moroccan and he have theyr music and style, diwan is algerian and have is music and style. Karim Ziad is not singing he only like gnawa so he do album where morrocan "master" singing not only Hamid Karim but with master Merchane, Hamid Mestiri (Awra) and lot of ohters...
@Nouredb No gnawa is morrocan music, diwan is algerian and stambali is tunisian nothing in mauritania, go learn before speak about this subject. And this music is not Gnawa but populary music singing with moroccan arabic, karim ziad do their album with moroccan musicians. Gnawa is MOROCCAN dont forget it !
