I’m VERY scared. Just got cast as Wadsworth of a production that goes up in may and in the process of learning this 370 word monologue I realized how many other lines he has, and blocking for that matter oh my god
I just finished playing Ms. Scarlett in my production. The person who played Wadsworth (who did a marvelous job) decided this monolog should be faster paced. And it was very funny and fantastic. I know you'll do a perfect job too
I came here for lighting inspiration thinking it would be dramatic since we have music and sfx underscoring Wadsworth's monologue, but I'm really surprised and am liking it without any sfx and the little comments from the guests! We divided up the stage like a dollhouse so this isn't helping but I wish we could do this!
Looking for blocking inspiration for this scenes as wadsworth. I love the tweaks in the script you’ve done, I think it fits the scenes a little better considering the space you are using. Great job!
Sadly, my versions of the play is not available in full online. But there are other productions of Clue elsewhere, though this scene may look different in different interpretations.
Sorry for the late response, but what we did is we blacked out the lights, let the projection play which showed a secret passage, and then turned the lights back on with the actors on the other end of the “secret passage”
I got one of the versions of the cop at the end bc of seniority 😭 i shall aspire to live up to your legacy by saying “well done wadsworth” with a tone of awe and reverence

You nailed this role, Wadsworth!!! Great job!!!

Great stuff! I was Mustard in our production of Clue a few years back. This was always my favorite scene to block

Props to my director for the blocking, it was her idea. Thank you!
I just realized that Colonel Mustard is the only male suspect (Plum and Green are played by females)
A limit of how many guys audition, I guess.
do you know were we can watch the full play?

Josh how did you guys deal with the secret passages while using the projector please?

I came here to decide whether I wanted to be scarlet or white and now I also want to be wadsworth help
Haha! I'm sure whatever role you get, you'll be fantastic!
