  • Minnesota Marine Art Museum Curator of Collections & Exhibitions Jon Swanson takes a look at little seen items from the Museum's collection in the series "From the Vault." In this episode, he takes a look at a model of one of America's most famous ships: USS Constitution. Made by Wilbur Decker from 1928 to 1930, this scale model of the famed frigate nicknamed "Old Ironsides" contains wood and copper salvaged from the ship itself.

Stunning model, absolutely gorgeous. It's too bad that Mr. Decker has passed away, I'd love to shake his hand and buy him a beer.

This is one of the best small museums in the USA. A wide ranging collection of American and European art from the nineteenth century on, including Hudson School and Impressionist paintings.

Why is God narrating a video about a model ship? In any case that empty room really made the narration very grand

Работа выполнена грубо, на уровне начинающего моделиста. Восхищения не вызывает.
