Same here. It's tough out there
and its mostly men. A lot lost/split with their wives and are falling out of their normal life. Next step is loosing the job and then you are out there, alone, feeling depressed and ashamed of your situation. Its a disgrace to have to eat everything you find. Its a survival situation and you have no other choice.

Beautiful. Mark, that' s what I respect about you. I love that I've learned about you a little at a time, just by enjoying your vids. Dumpster diving or life saving drugs,,,, good and bad for both. Nothing wrong with either. My dumpster diving is not one of the things I'm ashamed of.
Many of us not only enjoy your content, but are inspired by it. I have an autistic adult son that loves going cat-fishing above all else. Believe me, I've tried to get him interested in many other fishing adventures. He's a cat-man thru and thru. Thanks a million for the years of sharing brother. I always get stuff off side of road get on Facebook get free stuff I have gotten a generator dumpster diving. It's like Christmas I love doing it!! Lol love your show. You are a survivor be proud.

Really been digging your channel since I found it recently. I've been wanting to catch some big catfish. I mainly fish inland lakes. Can you catch big cats fishing inland lakes?

I too found myself homeless at one time way back many years, so I took a job beneath my ego, pressure washing garbage trucks in the summer-time. Live rice buffet galore, I lived on canned sardines, saltines and hot mustard sauce for several weeks until I got paid. I stayed on that job until they taught me to drive the 10 and 13 speed trucks and eventually I was doing the hauling not the cleaning, although the job still stunk to high heavens, I was able to support myself, stop doing drugs/alcohol and redheads! I eventually married a redhead though!
Most people don't know what it's like to be hungry. So you just keep doing what you do. I have much respect for you & keep up the good work.

Last night on the Australian national news there was a segment about exactly what you have been talking about. Salinity problems with some of the New Orleans parish's drinking water. One of your politicians (mayor?) Held a press conference to explain about the low river levels and the salt water creeping up past the sand sill. They even showed a diagram of the salt water wedge in relation to the sill.

Living in the south, mullet was my fish to eat. Now here on the west coast no mullet sold anywhere. I hunger for some fried mullet. Try it, you'll love it.
Asian markets have a variet of fresh fish. I had an excellent Filipino market near where I lived. It had mullet and sardines; all best quality.
I’m wondering if you can try to catch a gator? Can you get a license? Is it possible and if so worthwhile? Can you do it on rod and reel/snagging?
