Just awesome...happily subscribed...watch this channel take off like a rocket...glad to be in at the beginning....always room for another high quality shoe shiner on y/t...well done in deed...and best of luck with the channel!
I noticed some of the shoes you've shined, some have laces taken out and some you keep in. What's the reason for this? How do you decide on taking them out or leaving them in?
Shandra Alcala it comes down to the condition of the shoes. Some need moisturized and cream and some do not. It is looking at them and decide whether or not. Or if the laces are a light color and the shoes are darker so you don't change them with the color.
That guy does great work ! Who made the boots you're wearing and what model are they ? I'm thinking about getting some Carolina Loggers but after seeing this I want to check out the boots you got . How do you like them ?
Ok, I thought that since dealing with shoes, would be better to protect the hands from all the dirty of shoes. Thanks for the answer, sorry about my poor english. Greetings from Brazil
Nak Crats lucky you! I wasn't in the American forces, it was another country. We used to shine (polish) everything, parade boots, combat boots (when in garrison), combat gloves (when in garrison) dress shoes, dress gloves, parade belts, even the butt stock and forestock of our FN. Red shoe polish worked good for the stocks but it made a mess after parade. We all spent hours and hours shinning, stripping, base coats etc. It was fucked up.
klekster12, thank you for your interest. The reason is because I have to drive 45 minutes to get to the nearest shoe shiner. The second reason is that my job has not sent me on any work trips. I can usually find a shoe shiner in big airports. I just might need to take a drive down to Salt Lake to get my shoes shined here soon.
I joined in 2011 and I have never shined anything. The Navy might. But the Army, Marines, and Air Force have suede like daily boots. The dress shoes we buy are a shiny plastic that need windex once in a while but that's it.
I've watched many shoe shining videos over the past year and you are truly one of the best! Keep em' coming!!
ZakMan thanks for the compliment more videos coming soon.

That is how I got into shoe shine videos. In fact that is what I'm doing right now, trying to fall asleep.

Master on the Brushes!👍
Makes me want to nod off. Love watching it. Better than counting sheep.
That's exactly what got me into getting my shoes shined.
@@nakcrats1750 don't see it much where I live. I'm in England country side. Lots of different techniques. So therapeutic.
That's too bad.
Awesome Shoe-Shiner....Great Videos
My question is...What kind of socks did this guy wear with these boots??
This Guy is My favourite shoeshine
Mad Max 88 thanks for enjoying the videos.
I noticed some of the shoes you've shined, some have laces taken out and some you keep in. What's the reason for this? How do you decide on taking them out or leaving them in?
Shandra Alcala, I think the shiner removed the laces that were easy to remove and replace. That's what I think.

Subscribed!
did a good job!
Great video, but why he doesnt wear any gloves?
I found out that using my bare fingers helps get the polish worked into the leather better, and it is worth the hand wash after I finish.
Ok, I thought that since dealing with shoes, would be better to protect the hands from all the dirty of shoes. Thanks for the answer, sorry about my poor english. Greetings from Brazil
Military doesn't shine boot? Is if because the boots have more synthetics and rough out leathers? Patent leathers?
HalfLifeAMD, you are correct

Rough leather, no longer the black stuff. Look 'em up if you'd like to see what I mean.
HalfLifeAMD, yeah I think time was a factor in moving away from all that. That sounds very time consuming.
What is the foaming stuff your lathering up?
Brad Bullman if you are talking about at the beginning of the video, it is saddle soap.
Thanks. I’m new to this, just picked up Allen Edmonds from Nordstrom rack for $56
cool
Laces, laces, laces...
Not sure what is more absurd: shining logger boots or wearing them strutting down the boulevard.
Ricopolico, why do you keep watching my video? There is something that keeps drawing you back. Whatever it is, I'm glad you keep coming back for more.
I guess I like to ponder the trivial.
Why no new videos in so long?

Definitely not ASMR with all the Chit Chat and Noise.
Since WHEN is shining your boots in the Military not a, "thing?"

Sorry. Not asmr if you going to chat during the whole vid
