This and DK64 are two of the most tedious games Ive ever beat(shouts to RareWare). All the while the experience was never too frustrating. The atmosphere and music of their games in the 90’s was unmatched.
I wish I found all the pieces so I could experience this level track and final battle. But I was one of the kids with no hints and found all but 3 pieces. And spent my childhood trying, created solid memories though. Only ever seen what happens after gathering all the pieces because of youtube.. but it still almost feels like I got to play this level too, only because of the jet force sound, so unique I miss this adventure
Which were the parts you missed? For many years (until late 2005) I had missed two: The one requiring the earplugs and the one with the Tribals (the only ones I didn't find without using a guide from Internet were two in Tawfret located in a hut's attic)
Honestly finding all the parts wasn’t that hard IMO. It was just that you had to rescue every tribal to get the stabilizer. I bought this game when I was 10 and didn’t beat it until I was 16 because of that. I finally one weekend just speed ran it when I was like 16. Knew where all the tribals were. Just never committed to saving every one. Ended up completely beating it for the first time. As tedious as it is DK64 was far more.
@@4dhumaninstrumentality789 i completely fucked my playthrough by going out of my way to pick up every possible ammo increaser with lupis, assuming you could defeat mizar with any character. like 90% of the increasers i got with him, so when i went to fight mizar being locked to juno absolutely destroyed me. i gave it several dozen attempts but i just didnt have the ammo to take him down, even running out of ammo on the main pistol and being forced to use the "free" pellets it has. i just really didnt have the patience to play the entire game again so its basically been left nuzlocked at that point and i never touched it again.
You don't get restore your health before fighting Mizar. First time I fight him I die in 1 hit. You get maximum ammo though, even for the Plasma Shotgun which is completely useless 90% of the time. The shots disappear after a short distance. It's garbage.
The plasma shotgun is actually really powerful against non shielded drones(the smaller ones of course) fully charged, it’s great for clearing out first waves if you’re low on machine gun/rocket launcher ammo.
The last thing I hear right before getting one-shotted by Mizar's stupid slow ball of electric fucking doom

FINALLY en extended version of this track. Thanks!
Running around like a madman spraying machine gun fire smashing glass walls.
Play this for someone and they would know it's the final level.
Thanks for uploading it!
God tier game and soundtrack
That's an understatement.
