The segment of Jim reminded me of a similar story when this worker disappeared, and upon investigation at his job place they (investigators) theorized he fell (or dipped) inside the molten fire according to the data (I think it was at the steel mill factory). Nobody knows what happened to him or if it was truly him that died there. I believe the company had shutdown after the incident since. Another factory back I believe in the 80’s when an elderly man went to his job on a weekend (it was supposed to be closed) and disappeared. The only evidence of his last sighting was from an old CCTV still images that showed him with another person. Creepy thing was the elderly man stared at the camera, looking quite odd. Like he was taken against his will. Since then the company had increased security presence for the weekend (supposedly there was no security at the factory at that time; it’s odd but then again there had been records like in the 80’s when sometimes there were no security on the weekend). Nowadays there should be security in a lot of places. Those two segments I’ve seen and recalled from a TV back in the 90’s. I regrettably forgot the name of the show. Edit: UNSOLVED MYSTERIES! I am sure it was that show back then. I gotta find the episode about those two. But they are quite similar to Jim.
I've seen every single episode of unsolved mysteries...the one your talking about I can't remember all the details but the factory was robbed that night and thousands of dollars worth of metals were stolen and the security guard went missing...they thought he may have been in on it also and thought he might turn up after the statute of limitations was up but he never did. Another theory was that he was killed by the robbers i.e double crossed or was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I've never seen an update about it though.

I really despise idiotic paranormal stories about cryptids and fake, crap stories like that. It would be great if you could keep those tall tales separate and labeled instead of interspersed with other real stories. It’s very disrespectful to missing persons and murder victims to be lumped into a compilation including big foot style creatures and Alaska triangle myths.
Why can’t creators put chapters in?! It’s beyond annoying when tbere is a crazy long video with no chapters. There have been so many times (especially on this channel) that there has been one or more cases I have already heard about, some of them I’ve heard about alot because of this exact reason, creators not putting chapters in and me being too lazy to fast forward. It’s just sooo annoying to do from my phone to tv. (I could just put it on the tv from remote but then I get ads, like a lot. If I put it on my phone and then to the tv, I can add videos to my “queue”. When you can’t do that watching RUclips any other way without paying-- which is honestly very weird and same thing with no ads… weird. And it’s just so hard and annoying to ff or rewind on my phone to tv, plus I have to like guess where each story ends/begins.
