I'm so proud of My daughter Alexandria Worrell the Charge Nurse in Video! ❤keep up the Good Work boo mommy loves you Nanny would be so proud of you as I am! God bless❤
The first person who spoke, bravo. The fact they were told to terminate by a specialist before going to CHOP really breaks my heart. Love that CHOP gave all the education possible and empowered them to make a decision! My hope is as a culture we can evolve away from the recommendation of terminating first with all the advances we’re making in healthcare.
indeed but somewhat understandable maybe those doctors never dealt with this before it is so rare doctors are only as good as their training and experiences.
Thank you for sharing this video! I am so happy for Amari, Javar and their family/friends. I'm not at all surprised everything went well. CHOP is an incredible hospital. 20 years ago, 18 specialists couldn't figure out what was wrong with my then 14 year old daughter. 30 minutes after our initial appointment at CHOP, she had a diagnosis, medication and help. She treated at CHOP on a regular basis for 2 years until her illness finally ended and is perfectly healthy now thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses at CHOP. Congrats again Amari and Javar! Best wishes to you both
These beautiful boys look at their mum like they’ve been here before, they’ve got wise eyes. I’m sure her brothers had something to do with sending these boys to their family. The medical science used to provide them with happy, healthy lives amazes me, congratulations to all involved for performing miracles!
As the doctor said, parents need full information. In this case things looked favourable for separation. That's not always the case. There's more experience of helping tiny babies now which is good.
You are such a wonderful couple and parents! I have grown fraternal daughters who were born 8 weeks premature. Thanks to God’s mercy they thrived. How beautiful your little boys are. May they and your other children always give you joy. Those little boys of yours have stolen this grandmothers heart!
Maternal fetal medicine physicians are so amazing to work with. What they do for patients facing difficult conditions gives them a pathway to understand what is going to happen in best case and worst case scenario. Really heroes in my eyes.
I had to laugh when after separation, the female surgeon said, "Just cradling him in your arms like this Matt- like you are holding a football." Still seeing them separated was bittersweet. I have never seen a creature look more lost than Amari and Javar waking up after surgery all alone in their skin after their little lifetime conjoined. It was sad and completely wonderful at the same time. I love watching these CHOPs modern miracle videos.
I’m a former NICU nurse. I totally cried watching this. Science is amazing, but combine that with teams that show grace, patience and kindness, there really are miracles. And love. Can’t forget that.
“When a child is born an ancestor is reborn.” ~ Afrikan proverb Her losing 2 brothers is why she was blessed by God with twins that look like her brothers. That’s not coincidence. May God bless the medical team and those cute little boys. I hope they’ll get to live a long normal life. ❤️
@@mi2meme2mi65 maybe, but people are entitled to their own beliefs. It could be considered a coincidence by you and me, but i think it's very sweet to see it in this light :)
All that amazing support -- mental, emotional, psychological -- for the parents and the babies, even a music therapist!! That's really beautiful. I hope someday we become a society where every new parent and child has access to this much loving care ❤ All the best to this family ❤
Love and bless this family and every nurse, Dr. and employee who works at this hospital from beginning to end who allow this absolute miracles to take place. I do donate to CHOP, if you can only afford a few dollars every dollar counts as they are never billed for any service… 💖
And to think the first thing the doctors told them was to abort! Mom and Dad knew better and look at them now,Two beautiful boys happy and thriving..❤❤❤ God Blessed this family and continues every day.. God Bless all the staff at Chops, they are the hands and hearts god works through..
Those boys are so cute! Congratulations to absolutely everyone for the successful outcome. May they, their siblings and parents have long, healthy and loving lives.
Beautiful healthy boys!! What an incredible blessing. Thanks to God, the incredible team at the hospital, the family and those parents these boys have the opportunity to lead full and productive lives WITHOUT limitations. It's incredible. That medical team are truly angels.
The experience of being separated from your twin like that has to be profound in its own way. I wish we could know about that-to appreciate the complexity of that experience, even as it continues. What strong boys they seem to be. Love the mom and dad but especially the mom.
CHOP has ALWAYS been AWESOME!!!!!! BLESS YOU, YOUR SONS AND THE REST OF YOUR FAMILY!!!!! I'm sitting hrre in tears, I'm so happy that they were BLESSED. My cousin retired from CHOP as a neonatal nurse.
What a beautiful and loving family. And that medical team! Wow. Please update so we can see how the babies and their adorable siblings get even cuter! Though it’s impossible to get cuter than they are, I bet they’ll do it anyways!
Such a beautiful family, the love just shines through. The jobs of every medical person that played their part made it possible to keep these boys in this world and thank god for their skills and the utter bravery of the parents. Sending love and well wishes from Australia 🇦🇺
I had my children in the 1970's. Our pediatrician was associated with CHOP. They were the be all, end all, even then. They have continued to exceed and excel.
Pregnancy really is a lot for women to go through. And, yet, there are people who would force women to be pregnant until their insides were worn out. Not all stories have happy endings, and we're not all cut out to have kids.
From the UK. My heart is so full of love for this beautiful family ❤ I’m so happy and grateful there was a happy outcome, the boys are gorgeous! I wish you all a joyous and blessed life together ❤❤❤❤❤
beautiful babies, wonderful family, Great job for the support team and staff (surgeons, docs, therapy nurses). This captured the life of parenting and all the people around to give a hand and support. This is what community looks like. Thank you for sharing your story
God bless the medical team and the parents who go through those type of situations. My heart is with you guys as a nurse and a parent🙏🏾. This video made me cry … i love how real it is. thank you.
I appreciate the acknowledgment that dads can have postpartum depression, especially if they feel like they’re as useful as a chocolate teapot and have had to go back to work early due to lack of paid paternity leave. On top of that if their partner is struggling with life with a newborn and they don’t know what to do or how to help especially when their partner is exclusively breast feeding, so dad can’t do a bottle, nappy change and settle at night so mum can sleep a bit more.
I am so excited that the conjoined twins were successfully separated. I am also happy that any advice given to them to terminate the pregnancy was ignored and they decided to give themselves time to make an informed decision before termination of the pregnancy. I am sure they were glad they waited because there was no attachment of vital organs and the babies were separated successful! Be happy as you raise your boys and hopefully their presence will alay your thoughts about your brothers and you can move forward happily.❤
Oh my gosh they are soooo cute!!!!! What an amazing family! This video really touched me. Thank you for your honesty, for sharing all of your fears, doubts and hopes and how you both supported each other. When the brothers that passed were mentioned it really touched me. God bless your beautiful family.
Aww what a wonderful story and two beautiful little boys get to live a normal life with their lovely family. God bless everyone in this video and thank you for the miracle the surgeons and nurses made come true. ❤
What a wonderful humble blessing of a family. Just so gentle and good, and that loving bond of strength and kindness between these parents. Wow, surely shows what you get when you mix and incredible family with a loving dedicated medical team. Success! Great outcomes. Surely these boys are blessed for their entire lives. My hope is that God blesses you and keeps you in his hands, all your lives, guiding Dr’s hands, and granting trust and grace for all involved. Thank you for sharing your story with me.
Man. The very first thing she said at the beginning of the video is so true. It hurts my heart that the first OB just said, terminate. But my heart is lifted again by the team at CHOP. Thank the Universe for them.
My daughter was born at Chop 12 years ago and a lot of those nurses were horrible but some were really good. God bless Dr Spray, Dr Bird, Dr Degenhart (sp), and nurse Lisa 😊
Wow! To God be the glory! Lord keep blessing those teams of doctors and nurses, continue to bless the babies and the babies family Abundantly ❤May these parents be the voice of Faith, May they voice your love Father and your miracle. Amen.

What a wonderful gift of healing all the doctors and nurses are blessed with - Saving the lives of precious babies must be the most wonderful thing in the world. I wonder if Javar and Amari have memories of being conjoined and if because of being conjoined, they have an even deeper bond that is usual with twins?
This was such a wonderful outcome! I loved this video so much. I'm so happy for this family and for the care team who worked so hard to help bring about this wonderful event. what a blessing they had a choice and were not forced to keep the pregnancy!
As the doctor said, parents need full information. In this case things looked favourable for separation. That's not always the case. There's more experience of helping tiny babies now which is good.
If she would have terminated, that would have been her personal CHOICE.
@@Beatles0223 It would've been their personal choice, but doctors can have a way of pressuring people in situations
It’s always a choice, as it should be. No woman is forced to terminate the way many woman are unfortunately forced to keep pregnancies.
