I said it in the Izzy interview; DJ these in-person episodes are the best because your good energy just livens the conversation up another level. You bring the same energy in an online call, but it doesn't have the same feel, sadly. Of course these are a treat and I appreciate anytime you do these!
That’s exactly what I think every time I see him! He’s the type of dude that kids should be looking up to in MMA 🔥 Looking forward to seeing the transition into his MMA career 🙏 Such a great kid.
I have seen this kid dominate on the mats for years never but never seen him interviewed before. what an incredibly humble and charming young man. His parents raised him right. I have no doubt he will achieve greatness in whatever he wants in life. And shout out to DJ, great interview!
Met these kids at 24 hour fitness. Super cool and down to earth kids with great heads on their shoulders. Wish them the best in life and with their jiu jitsu journey
Never thought i would love hearing Jits nerd's discuss their craft. Im super excited to see the young fella in One MMA. Very well spoken and scary athletic. Obviously very well raised that can't be taught by a team that you pay for that's learned from household from day one. So salute to the parents for raising a wonderful tandem of young men.
This should have thousands of views. GOAT in mma and kid with opportunity to be goat grappler or work his way up in MMA as well. Saw him training with chito for striking like he’s gonna have tons of potential. Get with great striking coaches , keep working on the wrestling and wall wrestling and still do enough jiujitsu to stay sharp. Can’t wait to see him make his MMA debut as well.
Props to Kade for trying MMA and at a young age too, most guys who are great in one discipline tease it for years and then never make the switch or they make it too late in their career
I just heard about these 2 brothers about 2 weeks ago and that their abilities were world class. Im amazed that at his age how down to earth, respectful, and humble he his.
That point about his "surfer strength" was really fascinating to me. I've heard a few people theorize that Alex Pereira's left hook is so insane because of his practice with archery; putting extra work in with those specific muscle groups. Another possible example: Imagine a monster overhand from a baseball pitcher with 90 mph fastball. Granted they'd have little incentive to transfer to combat sports with that skill, but its crazy to think about.
Tony Ferguson was a pitcher, before fighting. Stipe Miocic played in college and was planning to go pro. Scott holtzman, Jeremy Stevens, Dominick Reyes as well.
Power punchers are born, not made. Sure, one can develop some power into punches with technique and physicality, but with diminishing returns. Poatan has heavy hands by nature.
Mighty!!!! you are so freaking good at these interviews! bro, please get into commentating jits(ADCC) or even MMA. honestly, you make the whole thing flow so well.
Yeah one of them is using arguably most of your muscles and body and arguably one of them it's a lot easier to take breaks. There is a reason RUclips celebs will strike and won't grapple
You have leverage to change things drastically Kade. At the end of the day You can go trials any day, any location and you will end up winning effortlessly anyway.
First: Great interwivev! But what a humble and down to earth guy. Cant wait to see what does twins does in the future. Both of them is duckin savages!!!
Super down to earth guys. I train at ATOS HQ and whenever I see them or even Kaynan there's no pretention at all. High humility and high skill is always admirable!
You are very smart and extremely articulate. You make this alien world of fighting so accessible to people like me. I admire the athleticism and toughness of the athletes in this sport. Frankly I never could do it. Probably would break every bone in my body. But it is fun to hear the intricacies of this sport from you. Thank you very much. Best wishes to you and to your family Mighty Mouse. I hope you do not mind that label Mr. Johnson because it is so fun to see you perform. Also, you seem to have a wonderful family.
Just having world class athletes that are also world class people competing with each other… it might be a nuclear explosion. Love these guys, this is who you tell your kids to watch.
Why cant we have are cake and eat too? I love both and keep a very similar game in both. I love the intensity of no gi and love how the gi forces me to slow down and figure out the position better.
Kid doing D'arce with 3 years old without ever being taught, combined with the information from the psychic leads to interesting thoughts. Ruotolo should go to Brazil to meet the BJJ Mahatmas
As much as I hate the fact that DJ retired, I love seeing him happy doing what he's doing now. But damn I miss seeing him fight. No one moves like him in my opinion. He will be my GOAT until I see something comparable. This thing if train to with. great martial artist and teams is brilliant. I can't get enough. The good thing is that with DJ leaning so much might make him want to test it in competition. Don't blame me for being hopeful.
I love your content. Your speed in the octagon, ring, and on the mats is unmatched -- but bro, take a breath. You talk so fast it's impossible to decipher some bits and pieces of your dialogue, lol.
@@user1313 I can see Chatri letting them compete in it. I really hope he does at least he also does IBJJF comps so who knows what the actual contract is
Unbelievably humble for a kid who has accomplished so much. He represents his generation so well. Kudos!

I love how much fun you guys were having just chopping it up.
His match with Mikey is for the connoisseurs. Just two absolute freaks of technique going head to head.
Props to both but especially Mikey being smaller and still taking the match.
Im Spanish and I love the word, connoisseurs.
Mikey the knee destroyer. Risky move for a young fighter.
Im really excited for this match...

This has been my favourite Mightycast yet.,

Love the information you put out there Demetriqus, best MMA page on RUclips.
Gotta love the Ruotolo bros Jets luck to Kade in mma and thank you Mighty Mouse this is the content we want man.
MM is the freaking goat man. Crushing these youtube interviews. Such a humble guy man. Salute to MM!
The Ruotolos Are Absolute Assassins 🥷🏽
Kades ADCC performance was crazy technical.
This kid deserves to excel in the realm of MMA-a remarkable human being!

What a couple of phenomenons.
Beautiful interview! 🙌🏽
Dope interview. Kids got a good head on his shoulders. Wish him the best.
Awesome to see a high level jiu-jitsu player transition to mma! One fc is doing great with the grappling matches as well!

Kade is such a humble dude.......Crazy for his level of skill
Waiting for the CJI mention

🔥 Interview. Mighty mouse is the GOAT and a leiwand( ist ein deutsches Wort) Dude. And the Ruotolo Brothers are real role models. Grüße aus Austria.
It’s crazy because I’m a striker and I can stand there all day but after grappling for 10 minutes I’m dead.

What Dj is asking at 23:04 is a really good question for everyone! What would you do with your life if money didn't matter?

Something that DJ, Kade, and Mikey have in common besides being great grapplers? They all seem like genuinely nice, positive people.
I disagree. Maybe they all have gaming in common though

Dom, you have to stop mentioning being light skinned as an asset. Be comfortable in your own skin, Mighty.
Yea, ge seems to think light skinned = more marketable or attractive, which alot of people agree with actually.
