There are a lot of ideas I have for this commander: Squandered resources and zurans orb to keep your land count low for the ability to skullclamp your plants. Fetches go crazy in this deck giving them dredge Strip mine, wasteland, boseiju who endures with dredge for the "i wanna be a menace with no friends" factor. Cultivator colossus can theoretically help you draw your entire deck. Bone miser with barren moor will net you near infinite black mana. The surveil lands help a lot with getting lands for dredging into the graveyard. Cycle lands with flucuator. The list is endless
@@PubStompMTG I have about 5 decks in the works and as soon as this card was spoiled they all went out the window lol. To say I'm looking forward to it is an understatement
Thanks for the insights on this one. I was looking for ideas with this commander and I thought going for an Aristocrat build that runs Viscera Seer, Bloodghast, mass sac outlet that draws a bunch would do wonders for this commander. The Gitrog Monster, Crop Rotation, and Skullclamp would make this go absolutely insane with the build I'm thinking of.
this commander will be so fun, use all the toolbox lands, especially the channel ones, but any land with a good effect that requires you to sac or discard it so you can keep reusing them
Chthonian nightmare paired with dryad arbor will also do so much work. You'll get infinite tokens and infinite landfall triggers (as well as getting bigger and bigger things out of the grave) if you can find a way to lower the cost or generate mana as you're looping
Im sure you can combo like crazy with this which will end up being a much higher power version, not sure if it would be better than gitrog combo but you can atleast have a wider range of options with this guy
Great video. the Gitrog monster and the Necrobloom will be a busted combo. Your video did not tell us much about the lands that you can use in this deck, for instance Urzas saga, Boseju who endures, takenuma abandoned mire. This commander allows us to double dipp on those awesome lands with the dredge ability. Also Urza saga can fetch artifacts like elixir of immortality (against graveyard hate) or skullclamp.
I kinda see it doing grindy stuff. For example. A 2/2 zombie when we saddle it will draw us 2 cards, and if we have the commander out, it could have us consistent dredge each turn. I saw it more as a value piece and not a splshy one
Im building necroblossom as well and there are 3 cards i want to point out for everyone, that are not on your list: GLACIAL CHASM, CONSTANT MISTS and CHAMPION OF LAMBHOLT.
Honestly this card just seems ok, every deck tech ive seen with it is basically just a gitrog deck, so why not just play that. You really don't need the white in landfall strategys , and the payoff only gets good later in the game. Otherwise you just pump out a bunch of blockers
You also get to splash white which has good removal, some stax peeves if you wanna go that route and it's unassuming compared to just having the gitrog monster in the command zone. It's also more fun than Thalia and the gitrog, which is a comparable commander to this one.
@@jakebennett9130 Honestly... Just having the possibility to armageddon and being able to guarantee you draw lands, while getting more value is a pretty disgusting ability. Though Hazezon is even better for that admittedly.
White also has Open the Vaults, Emeria Shepherd, a bunch of removal, has protection, and most importantly, has Ojer Taq. There's definitely something there.

Seriously, you can go crazy with this commander!

I'm glad to help. Those are great options, too!
It’s no longer Plants vs Zombies; it’s Plants & Zombies vs Eldrazi now.
Seriously😭
We need the deck list my guy, i am going to build this HIGH POWER AF :)
Yeah this looks like a monster!

Absolutely!
strip mine time!

😳😳
I think the necrobloom+cultivator colossus+ Any free land sac outlet like overgrown estate can mill you as much as you like but I may be wrong
Roaming Throne, Skyshroud Claim, and Doubling Season seem like they'd be necessary additions to this.
Great suggestions!
Definitely going in my dune landimator deck.

Also Moonshaker Cavalry and Insidious Roots
I think gitrog ravenous ride will underperform here. Might need more big creatures like Yargle?

Glad I pulled a field of the dead from special guests!
Lucky person!
Im putting Redrock Sentinel in my Necrobloom deck. Think it could be an awesome sink and engine
Didnt think about that one! Seems very good!
The Gitrog Monster is gonna go hard in this deck
Yesssss🔥🔥🔥
I can see it milling almost the entire deck by turn 7 if mana rocks are added. This commander got me a little excited for trying.
No insidious roots?
Good option! completely forgot about it

Those are all great 👍
@@PubStompMTG yeah there are so much good cards. At the moment im at nearly 300 cards that are just good with this commander 😅
Did someone say abzan landfall aristocrats?
😎🤙
nahhhhh where is the deck list
In the description😎👍

Yes, but consider the following:
