Nice drive. I can see the yellow flags but where were the green flags?

They don’t wave green flags at Daytona. Once you’ve passed the incident (and as long as there’s no yellow lights or flags) you can return to racing speed

Hairpin turns 3 and 4, you're pushing the front end too much. Try going into the corner a little faster and deeper and stab the brake kind of hard for a moment and release quickly, while you have the wheel turned in the direction of the corner. This will kick the rear end out a little and point the front of kart around the corner in the direction you want. This technique will let you use LESS steering throughout the corner and you should stop hearing the front tires screeching as much. Also let your upper body lean a little to the outside of the kart, especially in those hairpin corners. This will load the outside tire and lift the front opposite side tire a little, giving you better grip and speed through the corner.

      Your advice is greatly appreciated!
I do know that the best way to drive is to use less steering but I haven’t driven these karts enough to be fully comfortable. I’m also not confident enough with oversteer to control it. You can see it with the SODI karts I’ve driven as well. Any little bit of oversteer and I panic and try to counter steer which just slows me down. I’m aware of these faults that I have as a driver and I hope to stamp them out when I start driving again
Thanks again for the advice! :)

It is a phone holder! The kart testers at Daytona use it to see their lap times while on track.
It is possible they will let you use your own phone using an app like TrackAddict. It’s something you’ll have to ask the team when you arrive
