Shaykh Abdullah our greatest scholar from Ethiopia. He's very famous and loved in Harar specially among our elderly. Today, he's increasingly become famous in Ethiopia among the yong. The day he died many cried for him and prayed the Janazah for him. Subhannallah he was very Humble, kind, and yet very harsh and tough on misguided groups such as the wahabies. May Allah reward him with jannah and unite ahlussunah all over the world. Amen
@myyou1 I have studied religion and I am fluent in old Arabic and I have also compared the shaykh’s books to other scholars such As Ibn-Hajary, Nawawy and many others and all what the shaykh said are found in previous scholar books. All you have to do is get his books and do your research. As the prophet Said, peace be upon him, what an eye seas is unlike the news you hear. Alhadulillah the truth is clear and most of our ummah and scholars are sunnies and their books in volumes are available.

@myyou1 I am not sure which Mullah Ali Qari you talking a,bout, I was referring to Hanafi scholar Mullah Ali Qari who authored the book, explanation of Al-Fiqh Al Akbar for Imam Abu Hanifa. As for Ibn Taymiyyah There were many who dispraised, and he came after the Salaf. He went into philosophy and said thinks never spoken by the salaf such as when he claimed that the world is created but its kind (naw') is eternal. Would it matter to you or the Ahbash, al-Ghazzali’s book, Ihya’ was burnt in Andalus. Would you then use that against him to attack him and belittle him, or worse, calling him KAfir -- as the Ahbash do with Ibn Taymiyya?

The Ulama will tell you he’s talking about the written Quran. That paper that you carry with you and all inc int you can’t say you are carrying an uncreated attribute. Nor can you say Allah’s attributed has united with the book so it’s part of Allah. May Allah protect us.

@myyou1 The shaykh in His books among them the explanation of the Tahawi creed specificly the his large explanation of the Tahawiyyah (because there is one small an one intermediary and one that is lengthy) Among other books he wrote, he refutes the Mu'tazillah who denied the speech of Allah, and the shaykh states they are not from Ahlussuna he also refutes the Mushabiha who compared the speech of Allah with the speech of the creation and at the same time claimed the speech of Allah is eternal.
@Najashi12 When there is a disagreement we should refer the case to the Quran, the Sunnah, or the sayings or Ijma' of the salaf - NOT the Khalaf like Al Ghazali’s, An Nawawi (Ruhmetullahi 'alaihim). Our speech about the scholars should not be partisan - As Imam Malik alude: "everybody can have his word accepted or rejected except the impeccable Prophet Muhammad(salalahu 'alaihi wasallam). Here is an example which Ahbash ignore: Imaam An-Nawawi said, "There is a consensus among the scholars that cursing is prohibited. Linguistically, cursing means to deprive or expel. In the Sharee'ah, it means deprivation of the Mercy of Allaah The Exalted. For a person whose status and end are not decisively known, it is not permissible to deprive him of the Mercy of Allah"

Read Surat Al-KAhf 109: Say, "If the sea were ink for [writing] the words of my Lord, the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We brought the like of it as a supplement." The Ash`arîs falsely claim, the Qur’an is an internal meaning and not, in fact, a speech of Allah. Allah spoke to Moses (peace be upon him).
@Najashi12 I have Sh Abdullahi's book Al-Siraat Al-Mustaqeem (read page 32-331993 edition) and he does not affirm what the Imams affirmed. He uses Kalaam implying the Quran is the meaning (Ibarah) of Allah’s speech, but not his speech, for Allah speaks without language, and He speaks only in His soul. Al-habashi suggested indirectly that this Quran is expressed by Gerbil by citing this verse (It is but the word of an honorable messenger) (See also Idhhar Al-Aqeeda Assunniyah P. 58-59, 69

First off, Sheikh Abdullah is a great Man, and Isitkahara does not mean you will dream of something for sure. Istikhara is performed when making a big change or movement in life, and by the Will of Allah it will either go as you would want or it wont. And like the Brother mentioned to you, why dont any of your teachers come and debate with his students directly!! I'll tell you they won't, they're really scared and know they'll be proven wrong.

@myyou1 Ibn Taymiya's imprisonment, his controversies and him making istitabah (taking shahada) to be released is extensively documented by Ibn Hajar al ^Asqalani and the Mufasir Abu Hayan al Andalusi praised him and after hearing his belief he used to dam him. Imam Abu Zar^ah al ^Iraqi (if my memory is correct) sated he went against the consensus in more than 60 issues. You don't have to belief but I send all the references to make you research, I have seen them personally.
@myyou1 This is also what imam at-Tahawi said, and Ahmad inbhu Hambal was firm on that and refused to submit to the belief of the Mua'tazila who believed Allah is not attributed with speach "sifatul Kalam." The speach of Allah also refered to As Quran is NOT CREATD, and it is not like the speak of the creation it has no beginning or End. This has been explained by scholars including many An-Nawawi, al Ghazali, Mula Ali Qari the hanafi...and shaykh Abdullah al Harari as well states the same.
@myyou1 10. For-example if you write Bismillah you writing has a beginning but it reflects the meaning of Allah uncreated speech, similar to if you right the name Allah it reflects the creator whom we worship and those letters are not God himself.
@myyou1 9.The term Quran is referred to the uncreated attribute of Allah (Kalamullah) and that is beyond our imagination. And It’s referred to the book, or the recitation of a person and in this case you don’t say that your recitation is the uncreated attribute of Allah, because your are a creation and what you speak is a creation and Allah is not part of you nor does he unite without, may Allah Guide us.

This is based on "There is not a single individual among you save he will be addressed by his lord, nor will there exist between him and His Lord an interpreter." - Al Bukhari.

Always we say the quran is not created, however, if you say Quran and you are talking about your personal recitation, the words and sounds that come out of your mouth, then you as a person you are a creation, you tongue is a creation, the sound that come from your mouth have a beginning, and Allah’s Attribute doesn’t unite with you nor Allah will dwell into you.
@myyou1 Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahab claimed that people are in state of shirk except his circle. When you start to learn religion its wise to seek the book and explanation of firmly respected scholars and the salaf era has produced many scholars including the four schools and Al-Bukhari, At-tahawi and many more&their books are available. But the proper way of learning is by Talaqi from the mouth of pious and knowledgeable teachers who learn other teacher with a chain (Sanad) back to rasullullah.

go look at a globe Makkah is below the equator! I used to pray NE and realized that NE is shorter in distance to Makkah but SE is the Direction. Prophet Muhammad never came with Mathematical calculations on determining the direction. That is what the ignorant rely on now a days. It's really sad ill tell you. @myyou1 Iam serious, before becoming sunni I used to argue for Ibn Abdul Wahab. Muhammd bin Abdul Wahab has many innovation such as dividing tawhid into three categories, Rububiyyah, Aluhiyya, and Asma wasifat. No salf explained as such go back to Fiqh al Akbar, Tahawiyya, or those who care after Ibn ^Asakir and imam an-Nasafi who lived in the forth century. Such division is not stated in the Hadith, this is a bid'atun Dalala--misguided innovation.
@myyou1 Ibn taymiya also authenticated the Hadith the fabricated hadith that Allah has the shape of a young hairless (body hair, amrad) with curled (head) hair. Ibn Taymiyah's father was a good Hambaly scholar. Ibn Taymiyah did study Hanbaily school and memorized many Hadith but these strange stands of his caused him to be jailed several times and they make istitabah (he took his shahada) and was released. Until he was jailed indefinite by the ruling of the four schools.
Brother, if you are not knowledgeable then ask, for all of us will be held accountable of what we say and write, may Allah protect us. All the alleged stories about the shaykh making fitnah in harar are lies. This is fact if you speak with old harries who lived during those days, and I had done so. When there is a disagreement we should refer the case to the Quran, the Sunnah, or the sayings or Ijma' of the salaf - NOT the Khalaf like Al Ghazali’s, An Nawawi (Ruhmetullahi 'alaihim). Our speech about the scholars should not be partisan - As Imam Malik alude: "everybody can have his word accepted or rejected except the impeccable Prophet Muhammad(salalahu 'alaihi wasallam). Correction! Allah has the attribute of Kalam and it is NOT called Quran. The Quran is one of the Kalaams of Allah. Read Surat Al-KAhf 109:

I have Sh Abdullahi's book Al-Siraat Al-Mustaqeem (read page 32-331993 edition) and he does not affirm what the Imams affirmed. He uses Kalaam implying the Quran is the meaning (Ibarah) of Allah’s speech, but not his speech, for Allah speaks without language, and He speaks only in His soul. Al-habashi suggested indirectly that this Quran is expressed by Gerbil by citing this verse (It is but the word of an honorable messenger) (See also Idhhar Al-Aqeeda Assunniyah P. 58-59, 69

@myyou1 Ibn Taymiya's imprisonment, his controversies and him making istitabah (taking shahada) to be released is extensively documented by Ibn Hajar al ^Asqalani and the Mufasir Abu Hayan al Andalusi praised him and after hearing his belief he used to dam him. Imam Abu Zar^ah al ^Iraqi (if my memory is correct) sated he went against the consensus in more than 60 issues. You don't have to belief but I send all the references to make you research, I have seen them personally.
@myyou1 This is also what imam at-Tahawi said, and Ahmad inbhu Hambal was firm on that and refused to submit to the belief of the Mua'tazila who believed Allah is not attributed with speach "sifatul Kalam." The speach of Allah also refered to As Quran is NOT CREATD, and it is not like the speak of the creation it has no beginning or End. This has been explained by scholars including many An-Nawawi, al Ghazali, Mula Ali Qari the hanafi...and shaykh Abdullah al Harari as well states the same.

When you start to learn religion its wise to seek the book and explanation of firmly respected scholars and the salaf era has produced many scholars including the four schools and Al-Bukhari, At-tahawi and many more&their books are available. Mulla 'Ali Qari was a student of 'Allamah ibn Hajr Makki. Ibn Hajr Makki wrote extensively against Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn Qayyim. Mulla 'Ali Qari was not pleased with it and hence he writes,

Muhammd bin Abdul Wahab has many innovation such as dividing tawhid into three categories, Rububiyyah, Aluhiyya, and Asma wasifat. No salf explained as such go back to Fiqh al Akbar, Tahawiyya, or those who care after Ibn ^Asakir and imam an-Nasafi who lived in the forth century. Such division is not stated in the Hadith, this is a bid'atun Dalala--misguided innovation.
@myyou1 Ibn taymiya also authenticated the Hadith the fabricated hadith that Allah has the shape of a young hairless (body hair, amrad) with curled (head) hair. Ibn Taymiyah's father was a good Hambaly scholar. Ibn Taymiyah did study Hanbaily school and memorized many Hadith but these strange stands of his caused him to be jailed several times and they make istitabah (he took his shahada) and was released. Until he was jailed indefinite by the ruling of the four schools.
Brother, if you are not knowledgeable then ask, for all of us will be held accountable of what we say and write, may Allah protect us. All the alleged stories about the shaykh making fitnah in harar are lies. This is fact if you speak with old harries who lived during those days, and I had done so.
