just buy one or 2 of those brown paper rolls from Lowes or home depot $12. a roll 100 ft long, and tear your paper from that. I did my concrete floors 20 years ago and they still look great. I do not use elmers glue, I used FLOOR polyurethane from lowes for the glue, then after it dried, rolled on 2 more coats. very easy to do

By using a sponge with the wood stain.
Looks fabulous! How smooth were you able to get it with sanding? Also, do you sand before staining or in between each poly coat
You can get it very smooth with the sanding. I did the sanding every three coats of poly.
