On the wrist and beam rifle, the wrist bend is actually nice. The wrist is bent so that it can hold it like a real rifle, notched in the shoulder. It has a stock, so you bend the elbow and brace the stock in the shoulder pocket. It looks great with the open hand in the left hand using it as a support hand. It literally has the most natural shooting posing of any HG I've seen. This is also how it's held in the anime when Amuro drops the backpack and starts shooting at Gyunei's Jagd Doga. If you're holding a rifle, you don't hold it out with one hand like a pistol, you brace it against your body and hold it with your support hand. The shoulders joints are super nice, too. Decent enough swing forward and it's really solid without being stiff, really smooth joint. I just wish this thing had a cutout for a thigh swivel and it'd be a perfect kit IMO.
Jetfire48 well we have, technically, a RE GZ Custom in the form of the Lightning Gundam from Build Fighters. You could essentially take one of the BWS from the Lightning Gundam and kitbash with the RE GZ, but yeah I would like a RE GZ Custom, even if it is a P-Bandai.
I wonder why they didn't call it the Refined Zeta Gundam instead of Refined Gundam Zeta? Then they could just call it the "RZ" or "Ar-Zee" for short, and it would be so much easier to pronounce. Also... I finally got around to buying one of these. I already have the No Grade 1/144 scale 1987 kit, and while it looks nice, it has not aged very well. This, on the other hand... well, it's a much more solid kit all around.
From what I understand, the A-1 and the C-1 were more powerful than the Zeta. Strictly speaking of the machine itself. You put some average pilot in an A or C-1 vs. Kamille or Amuro piloting the Zeta or the A-1 and that pilot is going to get destroyed.
Yes and no. The A1 is specialized for aerial combat only and can't operate in space, so it's better on atmospheric flight but that's mostly it. The C1 retains the spaceworthyness and fly into space and do re-entry like the orogbal Zeta and the Beam Smart Gun is one hell of a weapon . However, both lack the Bio Sensor, the Zeta's greatest asset by far.
@@gelgoorx luckily they do have the regz kai which is basically a regz with the bws as a backpack instead if a separate thing. The mg was ok. Fixed most of the issues that the old regz mg had
I like Re-GZ more than the original Zeta Gundam. I don't know why. Going to be on the lookout for this one.

It would be awesome for bandai to make a re-gz custom kit cause it's so much better than the normal version it was actually cost efficient as well

Yeah but it is a fully transformable suit, needs a redeisgn maybe an official MSV kit
Wish granted?
Yup wish granted just placed a pre order with p bandai
thanks, i will put this in my hunt list.
very good review, btw.
I lovs this ms
Literally any suit that was based on the zeta
Anyway the name should be
Re-ZG
Refined Zeta Gundam
In Gundam Grenade launcher are unguided like Rockets, Missiles are guided.
also, Been looking for a Few RE-GZ reviews
*****
Was also looking for my Londo Bell Task force, but was always curious about the BWS. Nice Review in showing that off.
The Re-GZ is to the Zeta Gundam what the GM is to the RX-78-2.
True.
The ReZel is the perfected version. The Re-GZ is the prototype/test-bed for an MP Zeta.
fishpop the re-zel was more so a mass produced version of the zeta 2 honestly
do you have any ideas for a custom of this kit? because I like the design but I wanna make a custom of it
If there's one HG I want to be 2.0'ed it would be the RE-GZ.

cause the name is cool
It released in January 2008

The mag is called an E-Pac
it's the same mint green the jegans are with a light royal blue
Lighting gundam is actally re gz
That's a stupid use of the BWS you would think it would just serve as a support unit for the re gz once it detaches instead of blowing up
Well thats the reason why regz wasnt too successful as a ms
@@marasai426 it's a darn shame I loved the concept
