I like how Dan Reynolds hasn't lost his touch over the years. Since they wrote Warriors, songs like Natural, Believer, Radioactive are still a banger. Imagine Dragons are one heck of a group

just finished ep9. this is the best animation i've ever watched seriously. it's incredibly well done. every character has depth, no one is one sided. everyone's decision and action has a believable reason behind it - it's logical. the arts, the combat, the badass music, it's 12/10.

The combat worked so incredibly well, in part, because while it was choreographed it wasn't mocap, it was all keyframed and from there hand animated. The antics were perfect, valid without being so telegraphed that they wouldn't make sense from a fighting perspective.
TL;DR - I agree with you. 13/10, 15/10 with rice.
This video made me realize that arcane can't possibly end with a happy ending.

The fact is that the First Season had a sad ending, I hope the Second season to have a good ending:(
It has to. The first season is all just depression and it served the purpose of the show, which was to show us what happened. Season 2 is technically extra and they can do whatever they want with this. I don't care what they have to do before they give us what we want but they shouldn't just stick to the game like that. It's a show.
Honestly I feel like it'd be very smart of them to put Summoners Rift in the show and have Jinx fight in it throughout the middle of the season. That way when she comes back the show is technically past the game and they can end it nicely
This gave me hope that season two could end with them connecting, it doesn't look like Vi is giving up and we see few moments of powder. I really hope they go off lol law and reconnect

Emotions well up inside every time I see that pained expression on Jinx's face.
I dont play the game but this series made me fall for the characters, made me research who they are and anticipate how their origin stories will be told.

i think the good thing about playing is that you can see the characters use their abilities they have in the game but in the show which makes it a big nice detail riot decided to add and i like it

This feels like major foreshadowing for season 2. The wormholes displacing both of them in different parts of Runeterra would be a crazy finale.

I absolutely love the imagery again. You see jinxed wants to be helped but at the same time she isn’t in control, she’s literally going insane because of…something (shown by the bright scribbles and the film scratches) …and it’s tearing her up inside. Especially the scene where Vi tries to comfort her and you get that scary bright Scribble flash over vi’s face which surrounds jinx and she snaps. It really shows how broken and scared and confused Jinx is and you see after the hextech core thing explodes her facial expression turns into regret like she knows she’s gone off the edge but is once again powerless to stop it. She’s been powerless her whole life and it ultimately destroyed her mind.
sometimes surrounding creates environment which stays hostile for brain, if person is not able to overcome, that's always a case.
@@paperlyst Yeah, I love how Ekko, Jinx, and Vi represent 3 very different aspects to coming from the same "ghetto" so to speak. Everyone's poor, everyone's seen violence and trauma... I love how much care they put into Jinx's justified brokenness.
Everyone was so dark n gloomy in each of the parts... it really brings out that zaun/piltover atmosphere. Weird movements, jittery perhaps.... it's so glorious
Why do I get a gist that Piltover and Zaun are so close to real life events while that Demacia and Noxus were more than a brotherly war...
at 1:30 you get a clear view at jinx's demons, you see Clogger, then Milo, then silco and then an enforcer, even in the end you keep seeing milo's portait (like on vi's face) and clogger a couple more time, her guilt is really what made her go insane
Vi can deadass be blown up, shot at, and pushed away but can’t stand to pull away from Jinx again

This changed completely the perspective I had of Jinx for the past 4 years, from the song “get jinxed” I expected Jinx to be super crazy, a maniac of disorder, now because of the recent videos and arcane Jinx seems not be crazy:(

And I love how this video was brilliantly created that helps chronicle Powder’s descent into Jinx and her madness but at the same time it doesn’t spoil the events from the series.
How many times have we watched a music video where it showed so many in movie footage that it felt like we were watching the actual movie before we actually watched the movie?
Of course it showed her descent through the singing of the song but I don’t feel spoiled and now I want to go back and re-watch this masterpiece of a series all over again.
just binged on season-1 .. it's an awesome show. the most detailed animation i have ever seen... the faces are so expressive, they tell so much more of the story than dialogues ever could. can't wait for season-2
It’s so sad how Jinx wants to be with Vi and feel her comfort but her mental problems cause her to see these images, causing her to not be able to feel that again. Of course her trauma led to this, along with her not knowing that Vi wanted to come back for her but couldn’t. Her character is so well developed and I give major props to Riot for creating the lore and this show. It’s amazing how they can connect things so beautifully.
Plus it also pictures well relationship between Zaun and Piltover. Vi is not sure if she wants to subordinate Powder or let her think by herself. Both are emotionally addicted to each other.
This was an amazing open show, I especially liked the weaving in of Arcane cinematics, which was done perfectly. Gotta say Riot stepped it up from last year's show.

I really hope they reconnect in season 2.
The thing is that everybody’s saying Powder is gone and there’s no way Vi will care anymore after the piltover missile but I don’t think it’s gonna be so easy. Vi knows that Jinx is going through something and she still doesn’t understand just where it’s coming from but even after Jinx shot Silco and knocked Kait unconscious Vi was showing sympathy and trying to help her. I think Vi is still gonna try to help Jinx. Itll take time after time of Vi and everyone she cares about being hurt before she turns fully against Jinx.

Fiddlesticks takes the form and memories of those he kills, so he probably killed someone who knows Jinx and based on that line it's probably gonna be the boss of the Arcane movie. There's a good chance that Fiddlesticks is gonna have a brief appearance at the finale of Arcane where he kills the final boss. Or it could be one of the childhood friends of Jinx that has been shown in the trailers, and blames her for everything that has happened.
The music is growing on to me ! Just like all of them
I love the little scenes with Jinx and Vi in this video, including them was a great choice! They add so much to their relationship and story and even more depth to Jinx as a character and I can't get over her facial expressions and gods, now I'm just sad again. What a masterpiece.

I'm not hyped as everyone for Arcane. But man this is a masterpiece. Animation, sound, Imagine Dragons and atleast Mr. Dan Raynolds himself. It's sick.
But it is a show with mature themes and no easy answers. Violence is not fetishized like we can in LoL "You get me now" cinematic. Instead it is presented in a way that make you feel emotional about characters.
