Jesus is Speaking to the Pharisees who were very interested in material things. Jesus is Teaching them that it is more important to have a Heart that is pure and good than to have a lot of money. Other reflections on this passage include Giving to God, Holding on to Hope in times of Adversity, and Championing the cause of the Destitute. THIS IS THE POWER AND SPIRIT OF GOD. IN ROMANS 8:11, THIS IS THE SAME POWER AND SPIRIT THAT RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD, THE SAME SPIRIT THAT ALL MUST POSSESS IN ORDER TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS. IT IS JESUS THAT WILL ENABLE US TO BE UNITED WITH HIM WHO OWNS THAT SPIRIT, WHICH IS GOD IN HEAVEN (JOHN 14:3).
Its all very well having and hearing a calling , but the Catholic Church is to critical on who they except, they look for perfection in the people, men who have been married before are on the scrap heap , once your tarnished the church has no interest in you....
