I hated it when people quickly disregard beautiful parts when it comes to Mikasa. They'll easily shift their minds to Mikasa as a simp. Mikasa running towards and throwing her life for Eren is what she was made as a character, she was a lovely bright little girl, she died and once revived by Eren's warmth. She met Armin bc of Eren, she met beautiful kind people bc she's with Eren. She gain friends and a best friend of her own, she gain strength and respect from others bc of her skills. Those things are already a development for her character.
I feel more love care nd devotion between Gon nd Killua😁❤️ than Eren nd Mika, im just saying, i dont think her character is well develop.. Just my opinion..

She decided from her own will to do that, she wanted to stop Eren, and she ended up with the love of her life with her own hands. Winning over her fear of losing the ones she loved the most. Eren taking his time to watch the moment he wrapped the scarf around Mikasa for the first time is heartbreaking. Mikasa did died that day, but Eren brought her back to life! So the Stupid king ordered to kill the Akermens that's why there were very less Akermens left. The ones who survived went to underground (from where Levi is from) and some went to the mountain side of wall Maria(from where Mikasa is from) So basically he lied to Mikasa and Arim, so that they can do what they have to do in the end of AOT..

He wants her to be happy and to live a long life.
