Kuon was developed by and published From Software and originally released in 2004 for the PlayStation 2. It was later localized and released in North America later that same year by Agetec. Indie Games Production then published the game in Europe two years later in 2006. The PAL version of the game can't access the intro cutscene due to a coding error during localization. Kuon hasn't received any new port and outside of emulation is only playable on PS2. All versions of the game are some of the most expensive horror games of all time.
