The # 1 car audio RUclipsr, always hilarious to watch. To protect that high dollar equipment from dust on the new tuning cart, a Soundman CA cover would be cool.
Back in the day we had a kid with a box side kick , had two fifteen' in a box that replaced the rear seats....could feel him when he rolled up to the high school to pick up his girl friend.... Man that thing was loud , all black, black steelies and lowered , sooo cool.
Excited to see what you have in mind for the T-Bird. I had an ‘87 5.0 T-Bird in high school. Had some Roadsters on it, and a sweet Rockford Fosgate system in it. Complete with a wood grain faced head unit. Lmmfao!!!! Damn I’m old!!!!
Doug love your work Im a qualified mechanic from Australia wish I could come and help with the t bird because Rafa won't but im sure you will nail it like everything else you do 100% perfection!! Keep up the good work mate !!
Loving this build. Love channel. I have a bagged 74 Bug and a 1990 SC TBird dropped on 18s. And I get to build highway patrol cars out of F-150s. so this channel is very relevant to my life and also very entertains.
Dude I love your lighthearted approach. Your work is incredible quality but you don't take any of it too seriously. So entertaining to watch. You deserve success man.
You see me rollin.....that shit was funny as hell. Great episode Doug. If you get a mechanic's lean on the car, you can register it and have a new title made on the car. Doug, fo a full episode on your shop, tools used and how they are used.
This is what I'd recommend. Get your hands on a 5.4L 3v mercury engine. True dual exhaust with X pipe, resonators at the headers, mufflers optional as I assume there's going to be minimal of two sets of catalytic convertors on it (Cali law :/ ). As for the transmission I'd recommend going with a good aftermarket torque convertor and shift kit. The rear axle has pretty low gears as well so a gear swap will really wake it up. These motors are modular so you could always go to the scrap yard and grab a f-150 lightning engine with the supercharger to steal part's off. ;)
Hey before you remove the heads. Remove the timing chain cover and check the freeze plug in the front of the block. That might be where the coolant is leaking in.
Can't wait to see what you do with this one. My first car was a 92 Thunderbird that I put a wall in with 2 Mmats Juggernaut 15's on 2 US Amps 4000x's and I missed that car so much I just bought a 96 bird to do it all over again lol. Keep on doing the awesome ass builds.
Lol pinche mamón What I want to know is when are the nuked amplified shirts coming back? Come on Doug I need it in time for the summer, now IS the time for this
Hey Doug! U should have have a roll on eatch side of ur paintingtable. The inner one a roll of paper and the other one a empty roll with a crank. So u chould crank on some new paper between projects! Mine works great! Cranktable-brothers?
Anthony, #15750 I'm stoked to start watching the T-Bird build. Some of my favorite installs from back in the day were in those old "Supercoupes". I'm hoping we see a couple of old school free air 15's or 18's! Lol
I have a 1992 Ford taurus with 60k miles on it. Going to be junking it. Don't know if anything transfers over. Just throwing that out there. It's in pretty great shape actually.
SoundmanCA I hear ya. Was keeping it for my oldest to drive, but my father retired and no longer needs his work car that is newer. He worked at a metal scrapyard that would drive people like you and me crazy with nice "junk".
No build will ever beat the mule. If I ever saw that on the road I would flip. And I'd probably follow you long enough for it to break down and help you out lol
Your white Bird was nasty! My 1st car was a '92 Plum Purple Bird. I had it slammed on 17" chrome Neeper Raptors with (2) Kicker 15's on a Hafler 200. Ohhh the days :)
The Quadfather yes those were the days . I remember those wheels. One of the few companies making 17” rims. My first wheels were 17” Arelli’s those were the days when they didn’t even make 20” rims yet. The largest was 18”
The Quadfather just u saying neeper brought back memories! I had a extra cab Toyota pickup whith the neeper vadors on it and a Civic with neeper syncros. Besides them looking just unbelievable, everyone thought I was crazy cuz they were not sticking out past the fenders a foot and my truck tucked the 18s quite a bit. So believe it or not it was laughed at in the beginning then basically over a weekend it was all about tuckn wheels and 20s were just massive!! Now they are stock on most cars and trucks. Doug should go even older school and get the truspoke wires pokin out striking small children on the sidewalk as he passes with the bolt on chrome mini mudflaps turnt sideways to stick out even further!! Idk if anyone remembers those things or not!! It sure is a good thing that trend somewhat passed on by! Every Ford escort seemed to have had that setup on it belly slidin on down the road with the power seat belt stuck forward not sliding back no matter how hard u slammed the door! Lol those were the days for sure!!
Order #15637 (Eugene.) Ordered 8/17/2017. Doug, I came across this channel in October 2016. The first video i saw was your F150 build on 10/20/16 "Choosing Door Speakers." Hooked ever since. I have watched every episode that you have produced within the last 536 days. 291 uploads. As compensation for my time and efforts, and delayed delivery time of the personalized Rafa's Mom's mini replica dildo - Commemorative wall placard, revision 2.0 , I am seeking a Midget Disco Dick, a Mule Plate, and the 6th Order Window, or whatever. LOL! Just send one of them my way. Keep producing the most informative and hilarious car build videos. Looking forward to the Free-Bird build. Thank you Doug. DeNIYoMB.
Who else got flash backs when Doug was talking about installing a punch amp with a full range box in the back of a Suzuki sidekick? Lol. Ah, the good ol’ days.
13:52 So I'm guessing then the wifey was the quality control? She had to mouth each one to make sure it matches the original? I'm guessing since she's taking care of the new family addition, that's why you've fallen behind on shipping? Jokes bro! Jokes! Have a good one!
Pro tip fo yo a$$... If you are going to take the hood off of that T bird, drill 2 alignment holes in the hinges and hood . This will speed up the the process of reinstalling with ease.
Order Number: #15759 I been waiting patiently I don’t care how much I wait and I love watching the show every time I wake up and learn more about car audio and love the f-150 sound system I bet it sounds amazing in person
It has probably already been said but with that 3.8 you replace both head gaskets at the same time or you will be replacing the second one really soon after.
Awe man, knew I should of ordered the D from you before the rush. Now everyone’s a head of me. Can you just send me some of your junk? Would love to get my hands on it.
I hope you rebuild the freebird like your old T.. That was an awesome ride and I'm don't even like that body style. Regardless I can't wait to see how it turns out..
i put in a few full range boxes damm tweeters and mids was junk in them 7000s on good old 2300 i know that was loud i sold alot of them mtx 2300 and 225ho that 4300 was a beast 4ch
Good afternoon Doug let me have that piece of plexi glass it will look nice hanged in my garage lol. My first car was a 89 Tbird Sc loved that car but had to get rid of it is there a way I can contact you for that piece of glass.
I'll bet you change the head gasket and then you'll have a crank or rod bearing go bad if there isn't one bad already. I would get a running junk yard motor and put it in. Wouldn't mess with a motor that's had coolant in the oil!!
Hey Doug I have a question I was wondering if you could answer. I have two 12" G&S Redlines still in the box, I'm guessing from the mid 90's. I can't seem to find any specs online, do you have any experience with these woofers? I'd appreciate the help. Thanks Mike
Goddam the funniest and most entertaining car audio show on RUclips.
There's nothing quite like opening a fucking soundman episode with an explosion. Thank you Doug.
Finally Doug started to work on the t bird like 10 years after he bought it😂
Exited about another 2 year project!
FSXgta ,,LMMFAO maybe 4 years or about 1,124 episodes 😂
The # 1 car audio RUclipsr, always hilarious to watch.
To protect that high dollar equipment from dust on the new tuning cart, a Soundman CA cover would be cool.
I like doug's videos because hes the only one who doesn't play the same stupid cringy background music as the other youtubers.
IDK Egyptian Lover is starting to get kinda old.
It's the music and humor that keep me watching!
I swear this is the best show on RUclips!!! Been watching every video religiously since I found this channel in 2013
Back in the day we had a kid with a box side kick , had two fifteen' in a box that replaced the rear seats....could feel him when he rolled up to the high school to pick up his girl friend.... Man that thing was loud , all black, black steelies and lowered , sooo cool.
I don't know what everyone is complaining about, I got my orders right away...thanks Doug!
I'll be here for the next 5 years faithfully watching this project take off! I mean longer if necessary..
Doug love your work Im a qualified mechanic from Australia wish I could come and help with the t bird because Rafa won't but im sure you will nail it like everything else you do 100% perfection!! Keep up the good work mate !!

Love all the comedy in your videos,,, will always watch,, if I ever win the Lottery i'll sponsor the show Doug.
Had a 1993 T-Bird in college with a bumpin system....loved that car.
You see me rollin.....that shit was funny as hell. Great episode Doug. If you get a mechanic's lean on the car, you can register it and have a new title made on the car.
Doug, fo a full episode on your shop, tools used and how they are used.
I quit the weeds.... just for the freebird im hopping on patreon, and your videos crack my shit all the way up!!!!!

Heads are easy on those Doug! I’ve done dozens! Don’t forget new head bolts!

That t-bird is like a blank canvas for one of the best builds. Wondering what Doug has in store for it

It runs?! Why junk it? 🤔
I would love to add another ford to the family 🤑
SoundmanCA I hear ya. Was keeping it for my oldest to drive, but my father retired and no longer needs his work car that is newer. He worked at a metal scrapyard that would drive people like you and me crazy with nice "junk".
Nevermind it's too late. He took to the yard 😪
Doug could heist the motor from Rafas stang and have a sleeper...::that breaks all the time
Even the dead members of Lynyrd Skynyrd are tuning in to see the #Freebird project get done. Miracles do happen Dougie Fresh.
No Lag Productions-. Not bad.
By the time Doug gets done with Freebird, they won’t even be dead anymore. #standbyme reference
No build will ever beat the mule. If I ever saw that on the road I would flip. And I'd probably follow you long enough for it to break down and help you out lol
Thanks for still being here Doug!

Blue devil head gasket sealer is the cheapest and it works great. I've used it on a b2000 truck and is still running great.
Who else got flash backs when Doug was talking about installing a punch amp with a full range box in the back of a Suzuki sidekick? Lol. Ah, the good ol’ days.
So nice having your son in the video
Ordered my midget disco knucks today. Wasnt thrilled I missed the other limited items so I had to hop on it.
Im so excited for the free bird videos. Post more during the week please 😭😭

Time is money Doug. The Freebird can only be free if no one works on it and it flies south for the winter.
It has probably already been said but with that 3.8 you replace both head gaskets at the same time or you will be replacing the second one really soon after.

Love your videos! Along with your choice of song clips. 👍👌😃
Doug - Order Number: #15670, hell yeah I still watch, easily the best car audio channel out there.
That T bird was bad. Any pics of the system? I loved those gloss white thunder amps. I had 8 225HOs in my wagon back when mark was reading highlights.
Awe man, knew I should of ordered the D from you before the rush. Now everyone’s a head of me. Can you just send me some of your junk? Would love to get my hands on it.

Too notch video comedy was wonderful great to watch you but man how long will this entire build take I am 36 I will never see the finished version
I remember seeing your kids were super young in your old videos. Jesus gettting old
Time to make history with the freebird, Hey Doug how much to build a custom box for 2 15` P3s?
Great episode! Doug, you are the Consummate One. Your thoughts on the THE FREE-BIRD sound good.

Dude 67tbird Lear jet 8track who's your Daddy? Now I drive 96 hooptie bird. Love your crazy shit man.
What’s the story on the extra set of carbs? 40mm Weber’s? INTERESTED

Have you sold the engine yet? I’ve got a 67 Squareback I’m building and the motor is trashed, factory three speed automatic though!
Good afternoon Doug let me have that piece of plexi glass it will look nice hanged in my garage lol. My first car was a 89 Tbird Sc loved that car but had to get rid of it is there a way I can contact you for that piece of glass.
Doug, can we get some Soundman snap-backs?
Doug are you open for the public ? Like walk in to do customize car audio stuff ??
“Fuck Off” oil pan plate Order #16097 for David. Never miss an episode.
I miss the old audio scene complete with din plugs instead of RCAs. They make installs so much cleaner. Plus I'm an a/d/s fanboy....
Just noticed that Aviator chair next to the arcade. I hate RH I used to work for them lol, I can see why you use it as a shop chair
#15703 still waiting but I don’t care. You can save me for last. Thanks Doug
Must say, one of the more epic videos!
Still waiting on the oil pan plate order #16119. Love the show!! I have watched every episode.
Damn. Lil man is all grown up.
Can't wait to see teardown of that engine. I bet it's quite a sludgy mess in there.
In a race between the Mule and the ThunderTurkey, the bird wins. Freebirds on roller casters always win!
I'll bet you change the head gasket and then you'll have a crank or rod bearing go bad if there isn't one bad already. I would get a running junk yard motor and put it in. Wouldn't mess with a motor that's had coolant in the oil!!
Damn i wish i was from the US just to come to see your shop, sadly i'm thousands of miles away 😁
Fast and furious music loading up the thunderturd bout killed my ass lmao!!
Hey Doug I have a question I was wondering if you could answer. I have two 12" G&S Redlines still in the box, I'm guessing from the mid 90's. I can't seem to find any specs online, do you have any experience with these woofers? I'd appreciate the help. Thanks Mike
Is the mule going to get some sort of engine bay cover one day?
Chris 15660. LOVE the show! keep it up!
Honest question...How much glass cleaner do you go through in a month?
This is the best episode since weeks
