I bought a demo VW Vento 2015 Diesel Highline, in Aug 2016. The discount i was offered was 3.15L. The car was driven about 2400 km. After a proper due diligence, I bought the car. As of today, the car has run 90000km, with normal service and repairs, and still drives very well. As sir rightly said, it is a calculated risk, but ek baar checkout krne me koi burai nahi hai.

Many TD vehicles are in very bad shape. Drove a Nissan Kicks Turbo petrol. It had scratches all over the car. Filthy from inside. So one really needs to look at everything very carefully 👍

I also bought a Ford Aspire T+petrol BS4 Feb 2020 demo car which was 6k km driven. Currently odometer reading is 42k km in almost 3 years. No issues faced till date. At that time I got around 2 lakh discount on this model and registered as 1st owner.
Basically just a gimmick by dealers to sell demo cars aka test drive cars aka display cars ,very rarely are they actually display cars where cars with accessories displayed for few months are sold,that has become a rarity now with the long waiting period for new cars,with an experience of 10 years in auto industry i would recommend not to buy a td car unless you are ready to pay the price, sometimes if ur lucky it won't have any problem but most of the time you will have a bad experience

Hi sir. I have taken a test drive of Tata nexon xza + optional Nov 2020 model , around 20 k on odometer. I searched in internet and found that it is registered under a tata showroom name here. The condition of vehicle is good. I am getting it checked by mechanic tomorrow. My doubt is whether ita a demo vehicle or not. As per your video, it compares to a vehicle of 80k odometer. Cars 24 executive says that they dont sell demo vehicles and probably its taken by one of the employees in the showroom for personal use. He told that he cannot provide the seller details as per company policy . Should i go ahead with the deal if mechanic finds it to be good?

There are no tricks involved sir, showroom wale khud se offer karenge aapko when an updated model is coming.

Check RC - are you second owner ? if not then EW start from date of invoice and can push Renault to get it repaired under Warranty only
