Firestorm + Poison Mastery 1000 Build for Episode 2: Duality + Gameplay

- Gameplay shown is an older clip at Mastery 303 but this has been the loadout I’ve been using to climb and clear Mastery 1000. This is a Joker build for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League that has cleared Mastery 1000 on all Duality Incursion missions.
The strategy of standing still was more of a demonstration for the “Hot-Footed” mutator. You can play either stationary or mobile, just depends on how you want to build and play. Enjoy.

Really fantastic build, I’m cruising through Incursions levels 100 and above with this. Thanks so much. Do you have any tips on a build for fighting Episode 2 Brainiac? I want those Corrupted items.
Fight against Brainiac in Duality seems to be bugged. “Extra Fries” Mutator is the only one showing during the final fight even if other Mutators were active in the earlier parts of the mission. It’s also behaving differently than what’s stated in the Nexus page.
The entire encounter should feel normal and I know the Joker build in this video can clear everything up to the final encounter. Your damage will fall off somewhere around Mastery 60-70 unless you build towards strong damage output for when Brainiac is stunned.
For Brainiac, I would build around buffing up firearm, grenade, or traversal damage if Joker. It seems like Captain Boomerang and Deadshot are the only ones who can melee when Brainiac is stunned, so that’s another area for them.
Love the build but quick question have you tried to use this against duality brainiac? Or do I need a different build to get a good mastery Level?
The Brainiac fight itself is bugged so you’ll begin to see some falloff around Mastery 60 or so. The missions leading up to Brainiac should still be a breeze though.
Brainiac encounter loads in with only the “Extra Fries” Mutator and it behaves differently than what’s stated in the Nexus page. It seems to be using a different description found when you go to your “Map” > see “Mastery Level Info”.
This Joker build should be fine even up to Mastery 1000, but since Brainiac encounter is bugged you’ll hit a wall around Mastery 60. If you’re trying to get the new Corrupted Notorious gear, I would just stay on Mastery 1 to save yourself the time. Until the bug is fixed, I don’t see a point in going beyond that.
How to get that hot footed mutator?
it's only in Episode 2 Duality incursion missions. From the Nexus tab, make sure you have Episode 2 selected then do those missions, I forget which Mastery level it pops up at but usually active around Mastery 30+
Anyone know how to unlock the recipe to craft ivy's traversal mod for joker?
The closest solution I have would be to make sure you complete all Support Squad missions (Ivy, Penguin, Hack, Lex, Rick Flag, Gizmo) and on the hardest difficulty if you can (Sweating Bullets minimum).
This is what I did on my initial play through and I was able to craft it for each character, even Joker during release (I progressed to unlock Joker, I didn’t purchase from in game store). I’ve heard of a few people who were unable to craft but was able to go back and help someone finish their missions. They unlocked the recipe shortly after.
If these don’t help, I’m sorry. Hopefully this gets fixed soon
What if you already did the missions for the crafting? Because i can craft anybody stuff but jokers stuff. @@theROME
I’m not certain exactly. I heard somebody was able to join another player that still needed to complete the missions. Eventually got it as a random drop.
Potentially, if the item drops you might get the crafting recipe too. I’ve been noticing more frequent drops of all the Support Squad during the Duality episode.
@theROME Have you ever seen the poison ivy set drop ever for you at all? I can't seem to get it to drop for me 😢
@@HanzoBuu I don’t think there is any correlation but I have been seeing more drops after the Duality Mayhem mission (Kill Brainiac).
