My screen recently went out or so i thought so i bought a new sammy monitor for 50 bucks on ebay brand new installed it but i cant get a picture i can hear everything in the background working when i touch the monitor i can hear it and the games but no visual i saw in one of the earlier vids you was saying the power supply board for monitor went out so can i bypass that board by getting a different monitor led? Mine is a 15" thx in advance
As someone whos does not know much, what type or model or screen you buy for this. My RX screen works but has lots of little lines on it. Thinking it was just power, so I got a new power supply but sadly that does not fix it. Maybe the monitor needs a full recap but thinking its best to just get a new one. P.S. Just look at you other video and see you posted S190W. Sadly don't see much looking on google. Maybe I can do by size, like 16:10 or 16:9 at say 19" or 20", any info will be great.
I got mine on eBay. It's a cheap, unbranded monitor, but anything with similar specs should work. You want a 19" with a native resolution of 1440x900 (which is 16:10 aspect ratio).
@@dinkyflix Thanks for the update, I was not sure on the 16:9 or 16:10 part. I think I see one that is the same one you used now. I'll give that a go, great work on this. Now I wonder if a Y VGA Splitter will work, think I'll try both out. UPDATE 2/1/24: Got same monitor as you and it works great but sadly video noise is still there. I've tired a new screen and power supply. Maybe it's the motherboard or it needs new capacitors. UPDATE 10/26/24: Got a new motherboard, got the same VGA splitter used in the video and 1.5ft VGA cables. Sadly video noise is not 100% gone but is a lot nicer looking now. If only there was a nice 16:10 19" OLED screen, then we be golden.
