Discovering nightcore + my maladaptive daydreaming just made me experience a completely different reality, one where I’m in control and loved. I always comeback when life is getting shitty, I can’t describe the amount of shit this song helped me get through. I’ve always imagined my (then) imaginary best friend singing this to comfort me, that no matter how alone I am in the world and regardless of how hard life gets he’ll always be there for me. It’s been years and now that I’m a adult I still haven’t been able to let go of him if anything I’ve been making up more and more comfort characters as my close friends for my lack of actual friends irl which is definitely mental illness but it’s the best that I can do as of rn. I think I’ve been pacing around for almost 8hrs today listening to this song on repeat while daydreaming😂😂😂 Idk how to stop cuz daydreaming takes up literally most of my day but I don’t think I wanna stop.
