Hey I made the video!! Hahah Pretty much how I spent that entire moto 00:34 seconds and 12:38 saw you coming and figured I'd wave to the camera whilst picking my bike up for the 4th time
haha, that's great!!! Cant believe u recognized me so quickly, thats really wild@ sorry u fell though...
This race was really fun and I was the kid on the Kawi with the elephant ears
we may have been the only 2 with big elephant ears! How did ur day go?>
It was good I got 2nd in class and 1st the 7-9 Championship
How did u like the EXtreme section
Congrats on the championship!!! I loved the extreme! Did u do it?
Yah we had to go on the smaller one on the right
Ryder love the content man
Thanks Jack!!!
What’s the trick to riding in the mud? You make it look so easy! Do you just keep a lot of weight on the front end? I always feel like I’m gonna wash out no control
Thanks for the compliments! I actually keep less weight on the font 😊
Great Racing Ryder and Dad too! Love the videos as always! We are about to run with studs here in Nova Scotia. First snowfall this week and it doesn’t appear to be leaving anytime soon!!! LOL! Nice to see people racing in Mud!
Thanks! Sorry u dont have some nice dirt to play in...but i guess ur prepared! What kind of studs do u use?
@@RyderSigety I am on some older steel studs but a lot of the guys are running the real Grip Studs with full length carbide. Others will use Ice Studs for off road as well. It will be a new experience for me this year as I am usually switching to Alpine Skiing. I am a member of the Canadian ski Patrol so get to ski quite a bit.
yeah, all differnt size studs for differnt conditions can be expensive....skiing is nice but when next season starts if u skied u may loose some ground to your competition who kept riding...tough call
I love that they put in an actual endurocross section that you can't just jump over. Great result to both Sigety's! I was volunteering at my clubs Dirty Santa Toy Run helping out. Wish I could be two places at once!
Nice of u to work for others to have fun...how did the ride go?
@@RyderSigety It went great, thanks for asking. Just some mud and rocks in coal country.
Awesome for you both. Master the mud, not many spend the time to get good at it... braap braap
Thanks Peter! Yeah some how we figured it out
I just want to say thanks for mentioning how good Scott goggles are in conditions like this. It would be really great if you could give some other tips for riding gear. I noticed you had the 100% cold weather gloves on but do you have any other recommendations for wet weather gear and cold weather as well? Congrats to you and your Dad on your TOR overall wins.
thanks for the kind words! We actually like the Moose gloves better but i forgot them :-( and the scott goggles are the best for sure! We are going to make more how to videos and will get to some more winter ideas!
@@RyderSigety Ok sweet sounds good, really appreciate it. I didn't know Moose had cold weather gloves i'll look into them. I actually just ordered Fasthouse version of warm gloves so ill let you know how they are as well. I think people will really appreciate some feedback from folks who know from experience what works in different conditions. As I'm sure you know equipment and gear is quite expensive so any help will be highly appreciated.
sounds good Jeremy and your welcome@@5JSP55
Great run in the mud! That looks exhausting!
my dad says GP racing isnt exhausting because it is broken into two 30 min motos
Love me some mud racing!!!
haha, then u must have loved 2023!
Great ride Ryder! I got u if you need podium video for next time!
Thanks And for sure if u can help with podium that would be great! How did u like TOR? Dad said u looked good and more aggressive then the past
@@RyderSigety yea I like TOR the motos are fun. Yea I was a little bit more aggressive but moto 2 I was feeling a little sick but the whole weekend was fun!
How bad where the rots the second moto I leafy early because I was throwing up
oh no!! hope u are better today....ruts surely got worse...or should i say deeper
@@RyderSigety ye my one friend said they were up to his gas lid but he got his 85 lowered a little
Nice rides guys!
u should have been there, we got a new series for u and Jaxson
also , all these years of riding gnarly rocks hasnt helped me much at the races, but it definetly helps at TOR since they have an extreme section!
@@RyderSigety We’ll try the series next year. I love what they’re doing,
Fast and Fast!
THANKS MIKE!!!!
I think they are finally starting to drop. Your voice sounds deep in the video😂
haha, yeah im going to kick dad's but soon. What is starting to drop?
Video 5 of saying GO RYDER GO
YES!!! and practice makes perfect :-) lol...thanks!
Dude you are moving. How do you like the husty
thanks Kollin! Im really looking forward to getting my YZ125's set up!
Yea hopefully I can make it to a GNCC
NJMP is a very nice facility.
for sure! were u at the race?
Good job ryder
as always thanks Gage!
Great job! Just some worthless background on my NJMP history. Before I raced hare scrambles, I use to race cars in ST1 class (Ferrari/Porsche/Corvette) and won the overall 1st event at this track on opening day. For years I was a high performance driving school instructor and probably have a hundred hours on those road courses. I even held the Lightning class lap record (1:12.1) in a 600hp road race customized Z06 for many years. Yes the money to road race is 10X any dirt bike and its hard to beat the sensation of topping out at 170mph coming into a turn. Here is an old (20 years by now) video of my 1st gen Z06 at Pocono Raceway chasing down a Ferrari 355 Challenge car. ruclips.net/video/Ed8k6cQY5AM/видео.html
wow thats soooooo coool!!! watched the video! I would love to do a lap on that track if i was allowed...are kids allowed on the track?
@@RyderSigety I think you have to be 18 and not anyone can just drive on the track. You either have to sign up with a club for a track day or have a competition license from a racing school, and of course a vehicle that is track worthy. So unfortunately, its a bit involved. I would recommend however that when the weather gets better you do a karting day there. The Karts are not your boardwalk grade and give a similar experience to youth drivers.
