    Great Racing Ryder and Dad too! Love the videos as always! We are about to run with studs here in Nova Scotia. First snowfall this week and it doesn’t appear to be leaving anytime soon!!! LOL! Nice to see people racing in Mud!

      @@RyderSigety I am on some older steel studs but a lot of the guys are running the real Grip Studs with full length carbide. Others will use Ice Studs for off road as well. It will be a new experience for me this year as I am usually switching to Alpine Skiing. I am a member of the Canadian ski Patrol so get to ski quite a bit.

    • @RyderSigety
      @RyderSigety  7 месяцев назад +1

      yeah, all differnt size studs for differnt conditions can be expensive....skiing is nice but when next season starts if u skied u may loose some ground to your competition who kept riding...tough call

    What’s the trick to riding in the mud? You make it look so easy! Do you just keep a lot of weight on the front end? I always feel like I’m gonna wash out no control

    I just want to say thanks for mentioning how good Scott goggles are in conditions like this. It would be really great if you could give some other tips for riding gear. I noticed you had the 100% cold weather gloves on but do you have any other recommendations for wet weather gear and cold weather as well? Congrats to you and your Dad on your TOR overall wins.

      @@RyderSigety Ok sweet sounds good, really appreciate it. I didn't know Moose had cold weather gloves i'll look into them. I actually just ordered Fasthouse version of warm gloves so ill let you know how they are as well. I think people will really appreciate some feedback from folks who know from experience what works in different conditions. As I'm sure you know equipment and gear is quite expensive so any help will be highly appreciated.

    Great job! Just some worthless background on my NJMP history. Before I raced hare scrambles, I use to race cars in ST1 class (Ferrari/Porsche/Corvette) and won the overall 1st event at this track on opening day. For years I was a high performance driving school instructor and probably have a hundred hours on those road courses. I even held the Lightning class lap record (1:12.1) in a 600hp road race customized Z06 for many years. Yes the money to road race is 10X any dirt bike and its hard to beat the sensation of topping out at 170mph coming into a turn. Here is an old (20 years by now) video of my 1st gen Z06 at Pocono Raceway chasing down a Ferrari 355 Challenge car. ruclips.net/video/Ed8k6cQY5AM/видео.html

    • @RyderSigety
      @RyderSigety  7 месяцев назад

      wow thats soooooo coool!!! watched the video! I would love to do a lap on that track if i was allowed...are kids allowed on the track?

    • @95jersey
      @95jersey 7 месяцев назад

      @@RyderSigety I think you have to be 18 and not anyone can just drive on the track. You either have to sign up with a club for a track day or have a competition license from a racing school, and of course a vehicle that is track worthy. So unfortunately, its a bit involved. I would recommend however that when the weather gets better you do a karting day there. The Karts are not your boardwalk grade and give a similar experience to youth drivers.
