It will have ‘slight’ drop in mileage and torque but it’s the least compared to any other silencer. If you want everything to be perfect then stick to the stock silencer which I myself do.

Depends on your riding style and condition, rough riding would decrease engine life too much. Using a genuine K-Indori and riding responsibly would hardly effect it by a few years but rough riding would ruin it within a few years of purchase. I removed it as for long rides the sound is irritating to my ears and is not recommended as it can cause damage to your ears, for slow city riding it’s ok but not for open highways when you’ve to ride for hundreds of kilometres
What is the difference between topbird indori and other globe indori....you have sent two links in descriptions...i want crome finished for my 350 es bullet
Technically both are same but the Top Bird one is best if you want in matte black with the Royal Enfield marquee but Globe is better in chrome so I’d say you buy the Globe one as Top Bird isn’t available in chrome

Hey! Well HK is one of the manufacturers so if you find it to match the waffle characteristics then you can go for it as that’ll be symbolic of its originality. HK does manufacture genuine K-Indori silencers if it’s an original HK in the first place.

Baffles and Filters are basically same if we talk about restrictions in the path of the gases. But filters are mainly referred to as the vibrators and catalytic converter inside a silencer that reduces the sound and purifies the gases, they are only there in the company fitted exhaust hence it’s legal everywhere

That video has no details about the upswept silencer but I did some research and I was a bit wrong the genuine RE upswept silencer was not free flow but had only one filter corresponding to the one in the bend pipe as per the BS 3 standards. The brand discontinued it as BS 4 was mandatory and two filters couldn’t meet the emission norms so technically RE couldn’t sell an illegal exhaust as fitting it on BS 4 and now BS 6 bikes would’ve obviously made them illegal as per the emission norms. As for the old silencer of the 80s and the K-Indori, yes they are the same.

Well you won’t regret it & I can guarantee that if you buy the Top Bird one from the first link in the description. A lot of people have bought it and they are happy & yes it’s the genuine thing.
It’s my favorite when it comes to the bass but then it’s free flow and will do more harm than good to the engine in the long run, too loud for long rides so it’ll hurt the ears too and then it’s clearly illegal so you can get a challan for that too. But then it’s your call at the end go for it if you just want some really heavy and bass rich sound.
The silencer is checked by the baffles not the thickness of the clamp, the inner construction of the silencer makes it genuine not other ulterior features.
The heating of silencer is common and if it’s a K-Indori then it’ll heat up more due to the obstruction caused by the baffles inside. Bend pipe is always hot as all the hot gases reach there first from the combustion chamber, you can use a heat shield for that. The video for a heat shield is already up so check that out if you want.
It will vibrate a bit as it’s tightened only by one clamp near the foot peg, check it and tighten it more is it’s loose also tighten the screw near the joint of the silencer as it might not be tightened properly
