  • After some exotic kits, time for a common 1/24 plastic kit. The first supercar, the sexiest car ever made, the one and only Lamborghini Miura.
P.S. This is a very old build, so sorry for the bad quality photos.

Well done! Too bad you couldn't open that rear hood (front & rear halves better) to see that awesome engine. Another builder here did that but so much had to added to make it work. I hope Hasegawa, Tamiya, or another model maker could make a Miura version to open up hood, trunk, and doors to see the detail that made it the 1st Super Car. Maybe add in the "eyelashes". I know the SV didn't have them but a nice touch.

Your leather technique is fantastic. Can you share the mix ratio for the radome, brown and clear orange?

I don't remember exactly mate. But something 70-30 or 60-40, is nice. Thanks for your comment.

Amazing interior. Love the seat belts and can I see a lamborghini key sitting on the centre console?

Great looking car and brilliant execution! congratulations, the work on the grills on the front and back are just perfect! the thing that bothers me the most in this kit is the "side grilles" from the doors, 2:24 they look too thick in the kit, I was hoping someone came up with a photoetch set fot that, also the body color should be blended on the body and not present a gap, I'm still wondering how I can make that happening on my model, I'm thinking in remove the black strips from inside, glue it on the model and blend it to it with some putty and do this vents afterwords with plastic card or even 3D print them... you did the best possible job there with the kit's part without modification, it's a very overlooked area

Hello Cesar and thank you for your comment. Yes, the side grilles are the worst part of the kit. I built the kit many many years ago and in my summer vacations, far away from my workbench with some basic tools. So, I thinned them a little bit, and just it. Studio27 gives some parts but needs a lot of work to do it right. Maybe, if I do it again I keep the external arc from hasegawa kit, and I remade the wings from a plastic sheet.

@@gtziaf Yes, that would be a good plan to deal with that corner.
