  • This is a bilateral stimulation music session for anxiety, stress, PTSD, insomnia and meditation. The session has a bilateral beat running at 50 BPM for one hour. There's also a 4 Hz binaural theta wave playing throughout the piece for an enhanced meditative state.
Bilateral stimulation is to the process of alternately stimulating the left and right sides of the brain, with the objective of fostering better inter-hemispheric communication. This is often achieved through techniques such as eye movements, sounds, or tactile stimulation in a rhythmic left-right pattern. Research has suggested that bilateral stimulation can have a range of positive effects, notably in the context of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, a recognized treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder. By enabling the brain to reprocess traumatic memories, bilateral stimulation can decrease the intensity of negative emotions and potentially lead to reduced anxiety, improved focus, and increased emotional stability. Furthermore, in some cases, it has also been found to aid in the enhancement of relaxation and creativity. As we continue to deepen our understanding of this fascinating process, its potential to be a powerful tool in therapeutic and personal growth contexts is becoming increasingly clear.

I just discovered Bilateral Stimulation today. I'm ADHD and many times my mind runs rampant with thoughts that can fill me with self-doubt and worry about the future. Listening to this is like my mind released from this ball of knots and everything just untangling into separate straight lines. It brings me to a state of clear thinking and a real sense of calm that I struggled to achieve through normal means of meditation and mindfulness training. I'm happy to have discovered this, because I believe it could really impact my life in many positive ways :)

I totally relate to this. Especially the ball of knots becoming streight lines. I have used this very same analogy to describe my thoughts

That’s amazing!! I discovered it two months ago because my mom’s coworker who works in the therapy clinic she works in told her about it and said that her daughter (me) might like it and I sure did! I have ADHD too, I also have autism and I consider both my autism and my ADHD my superpower!!

12:42am Dec 31, 2023 I can’t explain how calming this was almost instantly for all of the reasons you list in the description. It was instantly soothing to all those stimuli firing at once and gave me such a feeling of calm.

Recovering from post concussion syndrome and this one helps soothe my head. In my therapy i have started using a metronome when reading charts for my eye convergence. The bilateral is connecting with the metronome use in my therapy. So helpful.
