I have dealt in used Ridgid, Oster, Landis and Vitaulic equipment for many years. No one ever came back with complaints There is nothing wrong in general with most of these heavy duty products. This is a very illustrative well-done video. It's unfortunate that sometimes bad-mannered and unobservant nincompoops are allowed to insult both people and products on these comments.

Hi ! is it possible to roll multiple groves of different shapes simultaneously on cold drawn seamless tubes over a length of about 50~70 mm , I am looking for a cheap and fast replacement to machining............

I wonder how much you need to clean up the end of the pipe and the sealing surfaces, does it need sanding, grinding or anything like that.

    So expensive though.
Hope someone makes a handheld, smaller, automated system you can just plug into a drill or something.
Even the one with the ratchet is a real pain in the ass to use, since you've got to stand there and crank it, making your shoulder ache.
It makes it even worse when you're up in a ladder.

Use the RIDGID 975. You can attache an electric drill to it. Even a quality cordless drill will make many grooves on a single charge.

About how much time it took you for the grooving?

Less than a minute most of the time unless you are grooving very large diameter.
