I decided to remake GTA V's "No Happy Endings" on a PlayStation 1 using Music 2000, it's not perfect, I couldn't get the guitar sections to work at all.
@@STuffSuperRandom except one of the main characters is stuck in the 80s trying to relive his glory days so it absolutely does go for an 80s vibe because we shoot in his shoes
You did an awesome job making this and every time i hear this music i think of the line said by Ned Luke as Michael DeSanta.....you forget a thousand things everyday make sure this is one of them.
Wow, this is really beautifully recreated! It's really nice of you! It was worth my time to listen. By the way, Rockstar should use this instead of their version, it's much better.
It does, it's a very good little program considering the restraints of the hardware! Admittedly I was still a bit new to using the program when I made this, so there's a few improvements that could be done!
@@theobserver4214 the reverb is created using a dedicated DSP on the soundchip. It does handle 44100hz 16bits audio (Redbook CD audio) and SNES can only go up to 32khz 8bits
This sounds more 80’s than the original, the sound font is perfect for this song
Ummm... Original isn't supposed to sound like 80s, because the game doesn't take place in these times
@@STuffSuperRandom bruh the music is made by Tangerine Dream, the original song is Burning Bar and it's from an 80's heist movie called Thief
@@STuffSuperRandom except one of the main characters is stuck in the 80s trying to relive his glory days so it absolutely does go for an 80s vibe because we shoot in his shoes
Rockstar could've used this for Vice City, and then the original goes perfect with GTA V of course..
This is amazing
Skynex, Bob?
It's the song of my life
Wow man this is awesome :D
Love the original but this is a fine effort if I say so myself ;)
Cheers mate!
Damn...! I'm impressed! :D This sounds like I'm playing a mission on the game. Pretty damn close. And you did this from a music program on PS1? Wow...
It's a game. Music 2000.
You did an awesome job making this and every time i hear this music i think of the line said by Ned Luke as Michael DeSanta.....you forget a thousand things everyday make sure this is one of them.
This is actually really good i wish that online or singleplayer have like a 8-bit like esthetic that'll look like hotline Miami
Wow, this is really beautifully recreated! It's really nice of you! It was worth my time to listen. By the way, Rockstar should use this instead of their version, it's much better.
WHY IS THIS SO WELL-MADE, REALLY GOOD JOB YOU DID IT ON PS1 😭😭
I just wanna know how long did it take you to perfect every single part.🤔
This is so fking underrated
I love this software. I used to use it all the time on my PSP
dude, that was cool it was really Accurate and very close to the original. i would take this as a backing track because the guitar part was missing.
WOW, that's amazing!!
What
This should be considered underrated at 100k views, but it has less than 8k
Underrated, good job
Thanks!
You should really think about submitting this to Rockstar Games, they may put this music In the arcades 😶

ok bro why does this sound almost identical 😂💯
This is amazing and deserves more views
It needs more views. Maybe that's because not much people knows how this tune is called. I had to go one by one on Spotify until I found it.
Same I went through a whole playlist on RUclips
They made an actual DAW for the ps1? Epic bruh moment
Beautiful remake! Even without the guitar gives a groovy electro feel!
Thanks! A few improvements I'd like to make, did try the guitar but the program was just too limited for me to get it sounding good!
Godlike
This video must have more views, because is AWESOME.
Holy shit I was straight up jamming to this it’s so well made

Watching a video, of someone who used a game to make a cover of a song, included in another game
Great good job man
If GTA San Andreas Had No Happy Endings Song In The Game.
Impressive. And this is an amazing song!
This is Mario paint all over again
Listen Amanda…
I like it
It really gives me that 80s vibe as your in a red sports coupe driving down the streets of Los Angeles with the top down
can I use this for a YT vid? I'll put put you in the description too
Sure that’s fine!
this is so cool
So this uses the PS1 soundchip?
The reverb is godly.
It does, it's a very good little program considering the restraints of the hardware! Admittedly I was still a bit new to using the program when I made this, so there's a few improvements that could be done!
RyanUkAus The PSX soundchip tbh is just a SNES soundchip but with more channels and better reverb.
