Studied History of Godliness
At 17:20 CD says the Angel that came down didn’t raise Jesus from the dead(true) but Christ says I lay down my life and I take up again as to say Christ raised himself, the Angel came to roll away the stone. There’s many Scriptures that reveals Christ didn’t raise himself from the dead it was his Father. Notice: Acts 2:22-24 “Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: [23] Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: [24] Whom GOD HATH RAISED UP, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.” Acts 2:32 “THIS JESUS HATH GOD RAISED UP, whereof we all are witnesses.”
Acts 3:13-15 “The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. [14] But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; [15] And killed the Prince of life,WHOM GOD RAISED FROM THE DEAD; whereof we are witnesses.”Acts 10:39-40 “And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: [40] HIM GOD RAISED UP THE THIRD DAY, and shewed him openly;”
Galatians 1:1 “Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, WHO RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD”. True the Angel didn’t raise Christ but the Angel(which means messenger) when coming to the tomb spoke the words of God which resurrected him, Notice in Desire of Ages p.779.2-3 “And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven.” Clothed with the panoply of God, this angel left the heavenly courts. The bright beams of God's glory went before him, and illuminated his pathway. “His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow……….:.: The face they look upon is not the face of mortal warrior; it is the face of the mightiest of the Lord's host. This messenger is he who fills the position from which Satan fell. It is he who on the hills of Bethlehem proclaimed Christ's birth. The earth trembles at his approach, the hosts of darkness flee, and as he rolls away the stone, heaven seems to come down to the earth. The soldiers see him removing the stone as he would a pebble, and hear him cry, Son of God, come forth; Thy Father calls Thee.” So The Father did raise up Christ by way of the Angel(Gabriel)
John 10 verses 15 - 18. If Jesus says it, I believe Him. Some things are a mystery, but when I get to Heaven, He will explain it in the full details.
In the interim, if I say otherwise, I call Him (Jesus) a liar, for He Himself said it. And HE IS NOT A LIAR!
i accept what He says in faith, irrespective of what man says. If He and His Father and the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) are one, then what One does, the Other does.
A mystery indeed, but if it were not so, then He would not be God, for He could be fully understood. As I am still learning, He is God to me.
God is beyond understanding.
@@ricardoleslie9811 Please read Acts chapter 2-3 & 4 Peter says several times God raise up Jesus from the dead as well as Paul in Galatians 1:1; Peter and Paul were men of God not someone from the 15th 18th 19th century.
And Jesus Himself says what He said, for after all, HE IS GOD!
@@DonjohnsonBG Yes, Peter and Paul were men of God, whereas Jesus, who was Son of God, is GOD.
His witness is greater than that of 10,000 human witnesses.

@@ricardoleslie9811 I’m not proving Christ divinity you misunderstood my comment; my point of my comment is that God The Father raised up Jesus not Jesus himself. In Luke 23:46 Jesus commend his spirit to his Father, Spirit means life (John 6:63) So when Christ said in John 10:17 i lay down his life that I may take it again, TAKE means RECEIVE because he gave it to his Father at the cross and the resurrection he received it back from his Father, believe it or not.
