I do too. I hope whatever pain you're going through gets better - i hope the pain we're all going through gets better. In recent times its become a common thing - life isn't anywhere as simple as it was in years past... That's why the number one shows have been retro from the 80s and 70s... No one does shows from the 90s forward because it all went to shit. Kids don't ride till the street lights come on, people dont get together for keggers in college like they used to, there's no sense of community. People shoot up their schools because there's no pride in it anymore. Relationships between young people only happen on commercially driven social media and it has a high probability of being suicidally toxic. Many of these great songs are indicative of the darkness that has settled in, and nostalgic of a time when young people had a bright future to look forward to and werent just living a disease ridden drug addled shitshow with no hope in sight. i have a strong suspicion its partially linked to excessive exposure to our eternally connected slabs and social media where people can be just plain mean to one another and have no repercussions for it. Think about this and reflect on it. it'll shake you to your core and this music will just enhance the malaise of this day and age.🥺

I thought this might kill me to listen to but I'm glad I did. Chester and Linkin Park was a big part of why I started to play music in that era.. I got the pleasure to met him at the Phoenix airport and sat next to him on that flight to Burbank, Ca. All he had was book in his hand. I still have that picture we took together down at the baggage claim area hanging on my wall along with a signed autograph on a receipt I had in my pocket. I truly wished someone would have saved him. I would have given anything to be that rock star like he was. Some of us don't really understand the pain and suffering these guys go though. RIP Chester B. Songs like "Easier to run", "Numb", "Papercut", "in the end", "Breaking the habit" "Crawling" "Somewhere I belong" Excellent job Juan.

I hope he reads this and sees "Here you are 1 year later, hope you realize your stronger. hold on tight bro." i lost my mom and dad and moms mom and close friend over past few years, it was like "bam wham gone gone and gone" mom was 56. But, people asked me why im not MORE torn up about it...(and truly deep down i still hurt) but I embrace the hurt and i wouldnt want to not hurt. Yeah i still cry when i talk about her for more than a couple minutes, but i wouldnt have it any other way, there is something special mixed with the pain...love maybe....and the purest part and realization of it, and i wouldnt trade it for the world, because i truly believe deep in my heart that one day i will see her again. so how can i hurt or worry that bad? I got a place to go, and somebody waiting for me there. Sorry about your dad. I lost my dad to gastro cancer years ago and it still hurts when I'm reminded of the things he loved to eat, the snarky jokes he made, the TV shows we watched together (X-Files, Law and Order, Homicide "LOTS", etc.). I think in some ways Chris's suicide gave Chester "permission" to move to the other side. I really hope that wherever they are, they are finally whole and happy.

Man, just found this today, but the arrangement for Crawling is beyond phenomenal. It hits all the goosebumps for me. I am just writing finals papers, and have ran through this whole video. Most the songs I know and could pick out by the end, but the first few notes of Crawling hit and I just stopped and listened... It's such a beautiful and emotional arrangement of an already emotional song that there is no way not to just stop, listen, and even possibly weep for a second. This is amazing, truly amazing music. You really drew out what I think are the underlying emotions of LP's music...stripped it of it's ego and laid out bare what's left...and there is SO MUCH left. It reminds me of the love scene in The Terminator when they take that amazing electronic theme and give it its humanity. I type for a living and have this video playing as an endless loop underneath my recordings. I would absolutely love for you to do Nine Inch Nails.

Man, just found this today, but the arrangement for Crawling is beyond phenomenal. It hits all the goosebumps for me.
I am just writing finals papers, and have ran through this whole video. Most the songs I know and could pick out by the end, but the first few notes of Crawling hit and I just stopped and listened... It's such a beautiful and emotional arrangement of an already emotional song that there is no way not to just stop, listen, and even possibly weep for a second.

This is amazing, truly amazing music. You really drew out what I think are the underlying emotions of LP's music...stripped it of it's ego and laid out bare what's left...and there is SO MUCH left. It reminds me of the love scene in The Terminator when they take that amazing electronic theme and give it its humanity. I type for a living and have this video playing as an endless loop underneath my recordings. I would absolutely love for you to do Nine Inch Nails.
