It appears, that whenever the slowest circle has went a fraction of it's journey (e.g. 1/2, 3/4, 2/5), a pattern gets created with the the amount of branches depending on the denominator of the previously named fraction.
I think this is a very good visualization of what 'chaos' actually is. Eventually, even if the colors and sounds aren't matched at all, you can still see and hear them sync together, especially at 1:17, 1:42, 2:33 and 5:05 (descending), and 6:21, 6:46, 7:37 and 10:08 (ascending).
I used to do this with more complex samples and fewer "instruments" usually tuned to a "nice" chord.... it was a really "cheap" route to minimal "composition".
I think it would be fun if the visual pattern more closely resembled a keyboard, rather that just one color for each note in the octave. Maybe make the line the pitches cross into a keyboard? That way, it would be easier to understand whats happening in a musical sense
so disappointed that there wasn't a final slam of notes once the cycle fully finished maybe if you can you can remake the video with the final slam? no pressure ofc
