I think it was Michael Palin who said "Crewe - built by the Railway for the Railway" and in today's Train Sim Journey, we will start off in Cheshire, on route we will pass through the Heart of the Potteries, the centre piece, the fantastic Stoke-on-Trent Railway station (i'm slightly biased on that point) and then on to the County Town of Staffordshire, Stafford station itself, which was completely rebuilt for the electrification of the West Coast Main Line in the 1960's and it has to be said, is quite austere.
