Thank you for the follow up review. I bought the pen tips screen protector because of your previous review. I didn't even know magnetic screen protectors existed before your video so thank you for that as well! Keep up the good work!
I guess that they had too many returns of the soft one perhaps. Is the ink one slightly harder still? I am just selling up the iPad now having moved over to Samsung Tab, so I won't be reviewing the new one unfortunately.
Hi Jotham. I did a test at www.basement-picasso.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Apple-Pencil-Tips-Test.jpg The first two lines of each are with a straight edge, the second two are hand drawn. My assessment is that the apple pencil has least wobble using a straight edge, but is hardest to control free-hand for me. The pen-tips 2 Hard is the best balanced - slightly wobbly on a straight edge but easier to draw freehand. The pen-tips lite is the worst line & my least favourite feel. I did this in Realistic Painter App. The results were identical in procreate. Hope that helps
@@JothamRJ Sorry, not quite sure what you mean? If you mean drawing without a screen protector then I would probably recommend the pen tips 2 hard as the best tip. For a permanent screen protector, I would recommend Paperlike with the standard Apple pencil. My preferred combination is the Pen Tips magnetic screen protector with the standard apple pencil which is what I currently use. hope that helps
@@JothamRJ If you mean something like this www.amazon.co.uk/Hocents-Paperfeel-Compatible-Generation-Auto-Alignment/dp/B0B41VJTQM/ then it's not something that I have tried - but it looks good and sounds like it would work well from the reviews

No problem, happy to help
I noticed they no longer offer the soft Pen Tip version. They also have a Pen Tips Ink version, haven't seen any reviews for that one.

The pen tips are great to use but they wear out really fast.
indeed. Ok if you are very gentle with them. My drawing style is just a bit too harsh!
Well done!
Thank you
Thanks you man
You are welcome, thanks for the support
Can you please tell me whether the lines wobble with Pentips 2 and Pentips lite..
Many said it improved with the Pentips 2...
Thanks.....

I have the Pen Tips 2 but they just stop working rather than wearing out. Kinda a waste of money due to their short lifespan
Yeah, there are definitely better options
App?
I was using "Art Set" on my IPad. It has some nice thick texture effects.
@@BasementPicasso thanks
@@BasementPicasso Hi, when you say 'Art Set' are you talking about ArtSet4 or another app?
Yes Art Set 4 on iPad
