Incredible, it's in show room condition! I still have one (63 model, the hehadlamp seems to be wider), in very bad condition ,compared to this one. It was my first "bike" in 1986, and is sitting, waiting for my retirement so I have the time to fix it, or sort of fix the best way possible. Last time it ran was around summer of 1988
I had one of these in green livery. Rode it around Bletchley for a couple years, 1966-1968. Can't remember what happened to it when I bought my first car. Hoping it is still about somewhere!
When I was a kid in the early 70s my father traded a cutting torch for a Honda 50 exactly like this one for us kids to ride around the farm. We put that little machine through hell, and it just kept going.
Beautiful little bike. Its got under my skin a bit , because I keep coming back to it. Probably because your just down the road. Hope it sells soon or i might have to make you a cheeky offer.
Thanks for your amusing message - yes it is a lovely little bike but I am not desperate to sell it unless the right person came along with the right price so don't worry about cheeky offers 😆
My first Honda C110 in 1967 and wat a fast beauty ❤️. It's run around 110 km/hr and even after 200 km he was famous to ride. I loved that 50 cc beauty. So strong... only Japanese bikes were the best bikes ever also Kreidler bikes 💪❤️👌👏
Its a lovely little bike and I have taken it on our "moped" runs a couple of times but I usually ride to the venues and then do the ride so it can end up as about 70 miles which is a bit much to do on the little one. I have a YB100 that I usually use for that - I'm a big guy and mopeds don't much like me !
My dad bought me a 61 in white and black when I was 8 years old in 1969. Didn't last long before I blew it up (I was riding in the dirt). I think we took it to the dump. Cost 50 bucks.
I had one of these in 1966. Was red like yours but side covers were red as well (not white). I do not want to buy it but would love to see it. I live about 2 hours away. Any chance of me meeting you at a place that suits you?
Currently in the process of refurb/restoration of a C110 from 1962 but it has the exhaust slung lower like the German version Parts are pretty costly and mostly come from the Asian continent 🙂 Did you make any videos of the restoration ? Broken kickstart shaft (think that was a common occurence ) but I have some of the parts for that but trying to start engine before total strip down What were the chroming costs for the tank panels ?
Hi - all this was 10 years ago and I do have photos of the bike broken down to components and paint spraying. Didn't chrome the tank panels, just the exhaust and a few other things from memory.
@@RobLittleuk Not many videos of the C110 stripdowns or much else on youtube I think they are pretty rare bikes these days Selling for Thousands of $$$$ in the states Although there are a couple for sale on Eay that look to be fairly unmolested Used to own a C100 years ago very similar engine specs I seem to recall the battery going flat quite often though 🙂 Maybe you could post a montage of the photos time lapsed in some sort of order If time permits with a voice overlay

We used to ride my friends dad's CB50 when we were kids. First motorcycle I learned to ride on . Brings back memories .
Brings back memories for us all
I bought a used one exactly like this in 1969. I still love this bike.
Maybe we are a similar age !
in 1965 my father gave me a new one, blue model with low pipe - very good memories in my fifteen!s

Nice story great little bike !
You were lucky to have a dad like that - I didn't !! Must say I prefer the high pipe. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks for your comment - the little Honda was great for me in the old days!
Merveilleuse petite machine d’accord. Mais 110km/h ? J’en ai eu même deux. Mais même gonflée j’ai jamais atteint cette vitesse.
110 km??????
The fastest mine ever does was 70/75 km. 😎
