Cleopatra and Frankenstein was my favorite book from last year. It broke me but it was worth it. If you understand the characters (they can be frustrating sometimes) is a wild ride

EMILY WILDE LETS GOOOO!!! I’m obsessed with it and the second book is EVEN BETTER!! So if you’re on the fence about the first one at all then PLEASE still read the second cause it’s so funny and magical and they have a lot more interactions and the growth is good.
i also recommend the audiobook if you can’t get into the writing style, the narrators were amazing

@@danagracia6243 so far it’s pretty clean (fade to black). So I would say later teens and older? 🤔It does have cussing and suggestive themes and violence. The characters themselves are in their early 30s.
