There aren't any fences around Area-51 because it's in the middle of a Desert. I think the closest access road to Area-51 off of the main highway is about 30 miles.
Thanks Amazon for putting ads on tv about this show or I'd of missed it. Iv only been watching it up to 3 weeks and I'm just at the end of season 3 . When iv free time I'll be deep into season 4. And I'll more than likely rewatch it again and again like I did with thrones cuz the second and 3rd time around I always pick stuff up I missed the 1st time. But I usually start to rewatch a show when a new season is about to start. Thx Amazon you guys are putting out great shows and cheaper than Netflix at the same time which is cool. Keep the great shows coming
The best Hard Scfi Show in the world for many reasons! One is the Cast are amazing!!! Two it gets the science right !!!! Three the story is sooooo relevant to today!!! #TheExpanseAmazonPrime
I once put 87 octane in a super soaker. It was fun for 40 seconds, then the gas melted the plastic. First the pump gummed up and jammed, then the reservoir broke and gas-plastic leaked everywhere.
Indeed, thank you Amazon for having many many excellent series and original films. Mostly, thank you for saving the best science fiction television. (Don't worry Joss, Firefly is still my number one all-time show). Thank you to the absolutely brilliant cast and crew of The Expanse, you are on my adoration 'mantle' with the Firefly cast/crew, and Han Solo. Donkey Balls.
It's a bit sad that the whole story depends on a drive that can't exist, because it's based on a drive that breaks the laws of energy conservation. There is no fuel that could accelerate a ship for days with up to ten g without needing massive amounts of it. You would need a drive that directly converts matter into energy, but the film doesn't describe it as such. In the film Epstein makes the old drives "a hundred times more efficient". That's not possible. Nature doesn't allow engineers to randomly break laws by accident. Epstein didn't even knew his drive was that efficient until he pulled the switch. The story even had him die because of his ignorance. Science and engineering doesn't work like this. It would have been better to just leave the topic alone.
You know Ships have some "matter tanks" that needs to be refueled And drive create thrust by throwing that matter away or something like that. They were giving it an attention in S3 where they didnt have much Fuel sooo they used some Gravity assist magic to save some.
It's a bigger plot point in the books. The ships have large portions of the hull dedicated to storing reaction mass (water) that is superheated by the fusion reactor and shot out the back. Ships can't accelerate at 10g for days since they would run out of reaction mass very quickly, many ships only accelerate at around 1/3g for the long belt/ring voyages. There's even mentions of ships accelerating at 1/3g then coasting before the deceleration burn to save mass. The only ships that can sustain heavy burns are those with extremely large water tanks like the Donnager. Older drives did the same thing but didn't accelerate the mass as efficiently as what Epstein discovered, so while there is plenty of 'magic' there he merely found a way to streamline something within the cone design that allowed for further acceleration of the water and a higher propellant velocity.

The fact that Wes Chatham knew about the „storming of Area 51“ gives me joy.
Thank you Amazon for promoting the show that much !

These questions don't determine whether one is smarter than the other lmao but was fun to watch can't wait for season 4 😄
Wait! Wait! That was just Part 1! NOW, for the PHYSICS portion of the contest!
Like, why does the green juice allow astronauts to survive massive acceleration?
Steven Strait was so sweet to the (losing) NASA guy.
the cast of this show is amazing!!
Alright guys, seems like Amos is in on the raid. Don't tell nobody or he'll give you the murder snuggles in your sleep !
Me: *looking at Dom*
Question being cast
Me: Sorry, what...?
Steven Strait looks like Kit Harrington here so much.
In German they also have the same voice actor
That's what a good informed content can do to you. Congrats Expanse team.
Good job Cas Anvar

I've seen Dr. Hurt in a podcast called "The Hidden University of the Spitzer Space Telescope"

Eerily reminiscent of how rocket engines fail
Frankie: "Youtub-whoop-whooooop!" 😅

Fun stuff.
Also developed a stealth bomber lmao

Go, guys, GOOOOO :D
Once amazone starts to advertise this show the veiws will sky rocket
Just two words....Red Kibble
So what happens to my insides if I drank a carbonated beverage in 0g
Yes, I am pretty much smarter than anyone on planet Earth...look how much good it did me!
So ah, three heads are better than one?
Why Belters can survive high "G" burn maneuver? Because of juice?
I think it's just liquid.Even Naomi almost die at the 1G environment of Illos.
why did l subscribe to this channel again 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Astronauts cannot burp in space? OMG, I will never become an astronaut then.
