I just bought the "Power Oral Care System" from CVS Pharmacy for $10. It comes with - the standard oscillating small round brush head. -Floss heads -Sulcus tips -gum stimulator
The companies that make these really piss me off. I have had loads of electric toothbrushes from cheap to expensive. Literally as soon as the warranty is up, within months its dead. Open them up and the battery is weak, compared to what you can get, you can sometimes find twice if not 3 times better batteries for only £1. You need experience of soldering to change it though and my eyesight isn't the best with that stuff so no choice but to replace. I'm sick of companies doing this stuff, there was uproar when Apple did it with the Ipod but toothbrush, no one cares.
Hello, I watched lots of comparison videos from you, and somehow I’ve decided to opt for OralB. Can you please recommend the best model (currently on the market) if I don’t want to use any application to monitor my cleaning?
The recommendation varies depending on your country. UK/Europe: Oral-B Pro 2 2000 USA: Oral-B Pro 1000. If you need more assistance, please let me know.
Joseph, brush heads can be expensive, but I don't think changing toothbrush is really going to alter the need/cost for brush heads so much. We don't have any videos at the moment on these topics, but you might find the following articles helpful to save money when buying heads: www.electricteeth.com/cheap-aftermarket-alternative-oral-b-sonicare-brush-heads/ www.electricteeth.com/how-to-get-cheap-replacement-brush-heads/
Any recommendations for electric toothbrushes that are not so intense when it comes to vibration. My sonic care 1100 is so intense that its actually not fun to even hold the thing (the base vibrates a lot) let alone keep it in my mouth. Will more expensive models help?
More expensive models do potentially have the option to change the cleaning mode or the intensity, so the motor is not operating at full power and is therefore more gentle. Is this your first electric toothbrush? If so, it can take a few days to get use to the power. Your model should have a feature called Easy-Start enabled if it is a new brush, this is a setting which eases the up the power of the motor over the first 14 days, to make the transition to an electric brush much easier. It is explained on page 14 of the user manual: www.download.p4c.philips.com/files/h/hx3412_06/hx3412_06_dfu_eng.pdf?_ga=2.238678279.643320190.1598599709-517224843.1597477392
Hi, what is your opinion on nevadent professional care electric toothbrush (it's £40 and seems to be similar in features and contents to oral b smart series 6500) Do you think that the nevadent professional care electric toothbrush (available in lidl and eBay) would be a better investment than oral b pro 2 2500? I hope you will do a review on nevadent electric toothbrushes. p.s. your videos and website are very helpful and informative👍
I am pleased to read you have found our videos helpful. I have not actually used this Nevadent toothbrush although I have seen it in Lidl. I am sure the brush is perfectly fine and does the job intended well. Most electric toothbrushes do. Very few I have tested have ever been really poor. Without having used it, my primary concern is availability of replacement brush heads, durability and support. Nevadent is not a brand I have had many ask of or seen many really praise. It is a lesser known brand and I have no direct experience to say either way a natural concern is the reliability and support, should things go wrong. Brands like Oral-B and Sonicare are larger and potentially better in this regard. Also, brush head availability. You want to be able to get replacements and this brand is not something you see in many stores. Even in Lidl supply can be patchy and it may get to a point where getting heads is difficult or expensive in comparison to the alternative brands. At the time of writing the Pro 6500 from Oral-B is £20 more expensive at £60 but it might be a better value deal over the life of the brush. Few need all the features and the Pro 2 2500 represents a good value and reliable option for most people. I hope this helps.
If you are looking for best all round Oral-B in terms of features, performance and price, I would suggest looking at the Oral-B Pro 1000. If you live in Canada, then the Oral-B Pro 2000 is also worth considering. It has a built in pressure sensor which will alert you when brushing too hard.
@@ElectricTeeth hi, thank for your response I have a budget of around £50 but I think i could push to a bit more if necessary. I just wanted to know because I have a oral b toothbrush (I don't know which one) and it is alright but I have had it for quite a long time and I wanted to get another one so it could possibly brush better. Thanks
@@ElectricTeeth I did also see one of your videos about the dazzle pro toothbrush with the uv light to kill bacteria but is from the USA and I'm from the UK but with some discount codes I could get at about 60 pounds but I don't know if there is anything better i could get within that sort of budget.
Thanks for the extra info. A budget of £50 is plenty. I would suggest going for the Oral-B Pro 2 2500. It is the brush I recommend most in the UK. Cleans great, good value etc. ruclips.net/video/O8EBu4rXEK0/видео.html If you need more info, just let me know.
@@ElectricTeeth OK thank you i am not sure the actual name of the one I have but it is an oral b with 5 bursh modes and it came with a timer so would you recommend to keep the one I have or get the one you linked? Thanks
In my opinion i think there both good i have the electric oral B tooth Bush but if you want a really good toothbrush eather those 2 to pick i deffently love mine
There is no simple answer to this question. Ultimately both brands are very good, but a model form 1 brand might be better suited to you based on your needs and wants. At this time, for the average user, in the UK, we rate the Oral-B Pro 2 2500 as the best electric toothbrush based on the features and price. In the USA, the Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4100 is our recommendation. Happy to provide more specific model suggestions if you know what you are looking for.
