I was in japan recently and their set up there were much lighter.
Braid @ pe0.8
Leader @ ard 0.285mm.
Not sure if set up above can be used in Sg water.

Strongly recommend using Docan for targeting grouper , coral trout ( strawberry )especially reef area at Mukah, Sarawak

What's is the Knot do you use

Main line to leader is usually FG knot and to tie the Docan skirt, improved clinch knot is ok!
