- Result of my integration of Character interaction asset with Advanced Locomotion System V3. Result not final, still things left to do :) I will make a tutorial how to make this integration after new year. Right now it is still not perfect and not finished.

Just wondering if the best way to add a weapon system to advanced locomotion system would be to copy the basic code and put your weapon animations in it then blend between when weapon is equipped and the original anim bp animations?
Sometimes it looks a bit silly but it is way better than the default!

You can tell me how to fix it: the zombies are standing still, the car is flying somewhere, and some enemies stop shooting. do you know how to fix this? can what lesson there is on this subject? thank you in advance.

How would you integrate close combat fighter and cc swordsman animation, skills, targeting and enemy ai into the new character interaction?
That won't be easy, I haven't done that myself yet, however I have some plans to do that in the future. You can try to look in the blueprints of the cc fighter and try to copy corresponding nodes into character interaction, however this won't work straight out of the box and would required a lot of modifications to work properly as well as modifying Anim BP obviously.
@@VisualGameDev on my first attempt the ai was working from ccfighter and then the next time i opened the project it started attacking both teams even when the tags had be set correctly. i was able to get heavy attacks and takedowns working and extend the struct no problem. the directional targeting and skills with the way CI2 is coded seemed impossible to add.
Which version of unreal engine is this
One thing that I'll like to know is how can I do that when picking up something having the weapon after picking up the thing the weapon that I was using auto equip back again.

Just tick Take Weapon in Hands checkbox in the Item weapon in details tab. Or if you mean that weapon auto unequipped when you pick up an item and you want it to be auto eqipped back after item was picked up? For this you need to modify blueprints a little bit. I can show it in a video.
@@VisualGameDev I mean unequip and then equip back once you have take the item. I know that is through blueprints but I'm still learning and I don't know how to do it yet, if you can make a video tutorial explaining how to do it I'll appreciate it a lot, it will be better than mess around with the blueprints.

It works in first person, but to be honest it's far from perfect since it is mainly made fro 3rd person.

A tutorial for this integration will be made at later date, I'll try to record it in january, there are quite a lot of things to be done to make it work so it will be a long one and I'll probably split it in parts. But I still need to finish some things that currently doesn't work, after that I will get to it and make a tut.
