I've seen Mahomes get face masked and the refs miss it, He jumps up grabbing his face mask yelling at the ref and than the ref throws the flag. He does the same stuff for pass interference. Burrow needs to start making a bigger deal of the refs not protecting him bc Zac yelling at the refs seems to not work at all. Also I'd rather take the $30m for Tee and give it to two good guards. A better o-line helps the run game and the pass game, plus Higgins can't stay healthy

Myles Murphy had 4 tackles and a couple of pressures too. Almost had a sack. That sack Ossai got was on 3rd down too. That’s when you really need a sack. Trey is good about doing that too. Not as a pass rusher though he is getting better but he gets off the ball so dam quickly too quick for a 6’3’’ 310 pound dude. Jenkins has the size and strength to play nose tackle too. That’s where I think he wants to play because his dad was a NT. Mckinlley Jackson has a surprisingly good pass rush grade. He brings pressure. He is a NT but can play 3 tech too. We have some veritable defensive linemen. I would use Hubbard on 1st downs to stop the run. He is still good at that. I just think Sam is always playing hurt and is never even close to 100%. There were several missed tackles. It’ll be a 2 year rebuild.

Higgins is a solid #2 who misses a good 30%+ of his games. He is not a $30m/year guy. Hell, the fanchise tag is an overpay.

This team needs a #1 CB, a #2 CB, a quality NT, #2 quality pass rusher, a starting FS, a starting SS, a starting LB, hope Jenkins becomes your starting 3T or whatever he's going to be. It also needs a starting RG, a starting LG, a 1st down RB... THAT IS A LOT OF STARTERS to find in one offseason where half of your salary is invested in 3 players that didn't get you anywhere, anyway.

Bengals fans would be the first ones to remind you of how much QB matters when Chase was playing without Burrow averaging 4 catches for 63yds and a total of 1TD last year. Let’s at least be consistent with the logic when comparing Burrow to Sam Darnold.
