It makes sense, but also it's so weird that they're written and directed this doctor to be so unpleasant. Like, the scene before she admits her feelings to Dan, the Doctor is pretty much berating her and openly keeping secrets from her.
It's not even that she does anything that bad! All the other doctors got mad and kept secrets, but they've made sure that all her actions get portrayed in the worst light, it's weird.
@@josephcorridon9314 I agree, I don't think this doctor is particularly unpleasant, but I find it a bit strange that she never tells her companions about anything. I've always thought that one of the reasons she has companions in the first place is to ´lighten her load´ a bit and to have someone to talk to. Even if they don't understand everything...
i think it's part of this regeneration. the doctor wasn't always an open book, but i feel like thirteen is even worse. she keeps her emotions deep down and she doesn't even take time to process things by herself. she's complex and i think yaz understands that, and loves her as she is. at the same time i love how yaz confronts the doctor sometimes, always from a loving approach but taking no bullsh!t.
@@rosaltonoe7919 very true, its just frustrating to watch sometimes haha. I think that Chibnall could have focused Even more on developing their characters and their relationship/friendship though. Who knows maybe the special will be great…
“They say good hearted weirdos are the keepers”
Yaz, “is it that obvious?”
John, “maybe not to a good hearted weirdo”
taking off my clown makeup finally
