Idk, this might just work for me, but I’ve never had problems with scalp pain really so I think it works?

Rachel Girky I wash my hair everyday because I have an oily scalp. Sometimes twice if I feel terrible mentally. I also exercise daily and I sweat a lot. All that dirt and dead skin in hair makes me gag. It is easier to style and I feel clean. When I don’t wash my hair, my hair gets greasy and then I feel less confident. The shower is the place where I can relax. I have thick 1A hair.

If you are concerned about it you can try doing conditioner before shampoo to preserve your oils. You could also get a hair oil like an argan oil to put through your hair after a wash. But honestly, do what makes you feel best about yourself.

As a Scandinavian, I wash my hair when needed. Usually every two to four weeks. It takes about 8 hours to dry. I have flat and thick hair. I hate the implication that people are not allowed to honour themselves.

I have straight thin hair and just the though of washing them every day makes me uneasy. Any type of hair will get damaged if you wash it every day. And that's not counting on the fact your scalp produces less oil if you wash them less often. I wash mine once a week and it's enough. As a result, my hair gets less damaged, which makes them prettier. Onion's hair routine will destroy anyones hair. That guy is just a racist. And frizzy and braided hair are beautiful. Normally my braids are always loose near the top so it doesn’t hurt, so I get your point, just clarifying it’s fine if it’s tight below the scalp (if that makes sense). Idk, this might just work for me, but I’ve never had problems with scalp pain really so I think it works?

All that dirt and dead skin in hair makes me gag. It is easier to style and I feel clean. When I don’t wash my hair, my hair gets greasy and then I feel less confident. The shower is the place where I can relax. I have thick 1A hair.

If you are concerned about it you can try doing conditioner before shampoo to preserve your oils. You could also get a hair oil like an argan oil to put through your hair after a wash. As a Scandinavian, I wash my hair when needed. Usually every two to four weeks. It takes about 8 hours to dry. I have flat and thick hair. I hate the implication that people are not allowed to honour themselves.

Black hair is very unique and the only way to take care of it is however you decide to take care of it which is specific to each individual black person because what works for one may not work for the other but I know personally I've never met another black woman, whether they're from Africa or they have one white parent that washes their hair daily. I have straight thin hair and just the though of washing them every day makes me uneasy. Any type of hair will get damaged if you wash it every day. And that's not counting on the fact your scalp produces less oil if you wash them less often. I wash mine once a week and it's enough. As a result, my hair gets less damaged, which makes them prettier. Onion's hair routine will destroy anyones hair.

Beck the more often you wash your hair then the more often it needs to be washed, if you let it chill for like 4 days between washes for about 3 weeks then it wouldn’t get as greasy as often and you’d be able to keep to the every 4-ish days routine
