Absolutely glorious. I mean it’s whacky but it’s where U2 are great at back in their early days - unpolished but soul and connecting with the audience. I’ve read some comments here and if you judge it by perfection this is way off. Different times - this went down a storm at the concert.
Bono is messing up lyrics all the time but this seems deliberate - same that he changed the line about “black and whites” to “what’s right or wrong” to make it relatable to what Dublin and Ireland went through. During the 80’s Dublin had a serious issues with heroin and gang violence, insane unemployment across Ireland and young people would emigrate to the US due to lack of a future. If it’s not deliberate, it accidentally worked.

How many stadiums could a double bill of Bruce and U2 sell out??

He messed up the bridge! Left out the line about the textile mill.
I'd say that was deliberate-wouldn't apply to dublin🤔
@@andrewmcdermott2326 I think he made a mistake.

This comment section is the epitome of new fans and the internet.
I agree with you 😀
What's with Bonos voice? 😆
Fatigue
Das hört sich ja furchtbar an. Es ist ja schön, daß der Boss geehrt wird, aber die Umsetzung ist wirklich schlimm.
This song used to be good.
Makes you appreciate Bruce this is rubbish.
No passion or conviction
Pretty bad.
