Romans 8: 29 - 34.
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
What we think of ourselves or what people think about us might not justify us before Christ Jesus.
We are to present ourselves to God on daily basis and be humble before Him, to reveal to us who we truly are. Submitting ourselves to obey and trust God will put us in position to be justified by Christ.
