  • Check out my Ice fishing Machine.
I love this thing! I have never been more mobile before and I can just go so much farther now. This thing is a Ice fishing machine and just so much fun to ride.
    Thanks for watching!

I have a similar sled and similar trailer geometry - I like a lot of your solutions!

What you think of the snowdog?

I think they are OK. My cousin just bought one. They are lighter but they struggle a little on glare ice when hauling gear. Not enough weight on the front so it loses traction when hauling people and gear. But he only had metal cleats on no studs... Also it is not as comfortable when riding farther distance. Other than that it lighter so can handle thinner ice, it does about 20mph and beats walking any day. Also it a little more convenient when storing and you don't necessarily need a trailer to haul it. But I prefer the snowmobile still, just way more fun to ride 😆

@@ShiaOutdoors must be youtube being weird. Sorry.
      Anyway my original point.
I have the same identical snowmobile (just different year, 05) and doing icefishing mods on it myself. I really like your setup and have a few questions if you dont mind me asking.
The board and turn buckles on the back is a fantastic idea, definitely stealing that one but the tunnel behind the passengers seat has a slight curve to it where put the board on. What did you do there? Did you just tighten it down and say to hell with it, or put some sort of gasket to try to level it and keep extra snow out or something else?

@@WheresTheSauce the cargo area behind the passenger on my sled just had a soft bag and not the hard cover storage... so when I took off the bag it was a pretty flat area to put the board across... but looking at some 05 pictures it does looks like there is more of a curve... I think if you ratchet strap like mine (which I ran the strap under the seats and bumbper) and the turnbuckle you should be good... mine is on pretty tight. I can run good amount of gear on there and still gun it..
