Amen. My first video of Greg’s was like this. After so many others’ “highlight reels”, I thought it meant Greg wasn’t any good. I’ve since realized how much I’ve learned from him and just how much he knows. I’ve also seen him SLAY it out there. Only posting the best wouldn’t have helped me realize that I learn from the good AND the bad days. Greg for the win!
Couldn’t agree with you more Greg. I have more days like this than I have had great days. It’s what keeps me coming back. The challenge in how to adapt and figure them out from one trip to the next. Love it!
Yeah buddy! I enjoyed a day of fishing and now it’s time to wind down enjoying watching you fish. Dang man, rough time! Looks like a difficult lake to fish. Great ending message man. You’re right, the experience of getting a huge fish after going through the struggle makes that fish all the more rewarding.
You still keep it interesting even when the fish aren’t biting. The kayak loader (would love to see an in-depth video of that set up) the Deps “fish finder”, the 6oz a-rig, and “Cribs” truck camper addition. Thanks for letting us follow the journey.
Hard fishing that clear water! Always enjoy seeing the crew together breaking bread & putting a couple down. . Ps-Thxs for making us feel human once in a while.
When the actual tournament starts pass the half way point of the video you know it's going to be a tough one but every body has that lake that just can't produce on tournament day. And what you said Greg, days like that are what make you appreciate the good ones that much more. Keep it up.
Had my coffee while watching your latest adventure. I only fished one bass tournament on Camanche years ago, but luckily, we were able to get fish into the boat. It was pouring cats and dogs, yet the bass were on! Can't wait to see your next video 😊
It's crazy to Crack a Dankful ipa and half way thru the video you are pouring them into ice chest. You have good taste in beer and fishing equipment. Keep up the good work Greg.
I have some horrid fisheries near me, so I get skunked VERY often. I agree with Greg that you can't have good fishing days without the bad ones. Tight lines everyone!
Awesome video Greg! I went to Camanche two days ago and I had the exact same experience, one keeper bite all day. Two weeks ago I had a 2 fish day and week before that had an 8 fish day. Tough bite for sure! Two years ago we were slamming 20+ fish this time of year. I love Camanche, but I think I'm gonna move on from it for now. I'm gonna head to the Delta for the first time. I've heard great things
Great message at the end there. Im relegated to the banks mostly, the last month or so has been a complete struggle. But this message put some perspective into that feeling, so thank you. Cheers!
Tough one brother, i feel for you ....been there myself but i like the way you stay positive and give lots of good advice. Also surrounding yourself with a good crew helps a lot too.
Great video. We were there pre fishing for two full days and then had a boat tourney the day after the YaB event. It was super hard to figure them out. I said the same thing. Finally , we keyed in on the bite and my son and his partner placed third. I still hate that lake. lol.
Sorry it was such a tough day. I was cheering you on as I was having my coffee. I've only fished one tournament on Camanche years ago when it was raining cats and dogs. However, we lucked out in getting fish in the boat. Can't wait to see your next video 😊
Awsome vid Greg. Was on my way to Dick's to purchase some baits, and then a new vid popped up. Always gotta watch you pre-fish with my coffee. Saving the tournament for later. Doing some final adjustments to my yak. Awsome weather is finally getting here. GL Greg..🤟🎣
Hard day of bites, cloudly with a chance of ned rig or shaky head??? Maybe Carolina rig and a fluke greenpumpkin?? Thanks for share Greg, few fish but never skunk 👍
The closest lake to my house is a straight shot up the highway about 45 mins. I've only had one REALLY good day on that lake. Every other day that I've fished there, I only caught one dink or full blown skunked. I ask myself repeatedly "why even bother?" but its because its part of fishing. Once I figure those fish out in that lake, I'll be ecstatic! It's crazy to see that you were only able to catch one and others caught 5+ and had 88 inches. I wonder what they were doing different...? Either way, still great content! -D
Hey my man I have a great tip for spots at Comanche lake, I went through my whole arsenal for largemouth and spots and the only lure that was producing, was jigging/bouncing a Kastmaster.
Awesome video man! I just bought my first graft. It’s just traditional and down scan, but I was going to see if maybe you could make a tips and tricks video just covering the basics of and how you use your graft, especially pertaining to using a graft with a kayak. Thanks man! Keep up the good work!
You caught that pretourney one on a craw jig, I'd like to see some drop shots or more of a finess ned rig action and see how that would have panned out. Love the vids man! buying my first fishing kayak soon! Can't afford a pedal drive or trolling motor yet tho haha
Personally, I never thought that was a good lake to fish at compared to all the other lakes up there! Better luck next tourney, Greg! Still enjoyed the early video drop! Thank You!
Yessss first video to pop up lobe watching you man . Got a kayak tournament at eufaula this Saturday hoping to do well. Did finish 9th out of 63 at Lake Seminole last month
Amazing how at this time the vid is out 7mins with many likes. Not enough long enough to watch the whole video yet haha. Showing some real love for your content
Greg.. Have a question... No.. I need help.. Do you tie braid to the barrel of your real directly? Thanks... Hope to hear from you soon... Thanks again... Jay
Man I don’t feel so bad now, I was out on the same lake Saturday on a boat all day and only had 1 strike. My buddy put 5 on his boat over by the dam. Caught them all on the same bait.
That's Comanche for ya, spent 10 yrs tourney fishing and NEVER did any good there, know lots of guys who did, but I wasn't one of them. Gr8 vid tho greg1
Anytime I think "Greggy, your boat is expensive", I see that Aldy still has a Hobie and now has a bow mounted trolling motor. Does he have Livescope too?!
I have a portable potty when the wifey wants to go on the bass boat. My friends think it’s hilarious, wait till one day they need to go # 2. Won’t be laughing when they have to use it.
All in the timing... Toast just popped out of the toaster... Coffee brewed... eggs are done and a Greg video shows up... Time to enjoy!
How do you beat that?
@@joshweaver4729 Good question sir. 😂
I really enjoy seeing you guys have a good time off the water. The Greg Blanchard crew is pretty cool :)
Wish I had a crew like that here in Vegas.
It’s why it’s a like before the vid even started
Greg your the only youtube fisherman I know of that shows the good as well as the bad days. Thanks for the honesty. Keep em coming

. Comanche and Folsom are lakes that will test your confidence. You'll get em next tournament Greg, thanks for posting the good and the tough days
Would LOVE to see a breakdown of that kayak roof rack hoist your friend made!
This honest video & the last King of the boat edit were very down to earth & chill. Keep up the honest & humble fishing, love this channel

12:41 “I don’t wanna sleep next to your bathroom” 😂😂😂😂 the tour part was hilarious! It’s always so funny when you include Mike moments in your video!
Love the positivity you keep during the challenging times of fishing. Keep up your spirits and the awesome content.

no luck fishing. But the morning skies on your video were awesome. How could you not love that!
And this is how Mike became a Millionaire, that was a sick little invention.
Thats true!! Good idea of Mike the 2 bars to slide the yak, hope can show it slowly
“A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work”
Mike... your set up with the bed in the back...... NOOOICEEE!

Mike never stops innovating, love it!
Well said at the end of your video. 👍😁 love your buddies truck 😂😂😂
The suspense is real when your throwing that big glide bait
We've all had days like this. Hoping you win big next time and hope you catch your limit in practice too!
It is but isnt about the catching.. its about the chase, the puzzle, the hunt and that feeling when you figure em out!
agreed!
Tough one... but like you said, makes you appreciate the good days even more. Tight lines brother.
yessir, tight lines!
Just what I needed, a great fishing video to start my day!!! Sitting at work wishing I was fishing!
Agreed!💯
Mike is a fckn genius! I love the setup
Rough day Greg but looks like y’all had a fun time. That Depps sounds like a huge rock dropping in the water. Thanks for the video Sir!!!
It was rough out there. Can't wait for the Delta tourney. Thanks for hooking me up on the jump for my truck!

Man, not happy to see someone struggle with bass fishing but it definitely helps me feel better about skunking....pretty often lol
Tournament fished Lake Camanche over 30 years ago and it was always tough.

💣 💥 at the 3:24 minute mark that’s all I could picture on that cast. BOOM CAST SPLASH! 😂

The DIY kayak loading system was pretty impressive.
I’ll say it for you. “I hate that lake!” Lol can’t wait for another Delta video! 🔥
LOL!
Great day out on the water
Hell ya tournament video gonna be a blast. I love ur tournament videos man. U never disappoint
Thanks for tourney vids! Have a good one 👍
Tough day, tough lake. But, you have the right attitude, afterward. Can't have the highs without the lows. Next time.

Dark Horse needs that Sierra Nevada sponsorship son!
Man I heard it was tough. Kudos to those who limit out. Onto the next one!
mike with that setup. we need a video of that. I car top onto of a work van that would be valid
Thank you man I miss camanche just moved out to la area and was wondering how it has been
Great job brother, you win some you lose some but at the end of the day we keep fishing....
I tell my friends that all the time “fishing would be boring if it was easy”
Hey my man I have a great tip for spots at Comanche lake, I went through my whole arsenal for largemouth and spots and the only lure that was producing, was jigging/bouncing a Kastmaster.
Fish the north shore damn
I was told by the great IF the informative fisherman to “fish for other species” to catch the bass at that lake. Lol
I camp and fish just like mike. Works great. Never have to set up a tent and have the bass boat in tow to easy lol.
Good Luck out there Greg..... Heading out to Bethel Island for first fishing of year. Your vids got me stoked 👍
Good luck man!

Greg, How about a 2021 Kayak breakdown? I've seen a few new modifications on the Titan!
yes!

Awesome video!!!
Mikes rig was sick
mikes diy loader is da bomb
Awesome vids Greg. 👍 Does Mikey have a channel or review of his setup?
Oof! When you can't break the pre-fish and tournament day into two videos, things must be tough. Highlight was definitely Mike's nifty kayak loader!
I'm not sure if Greg makes me feel more lazy as a fisherman or an editor....
Damn, tough tourney right there.
i hope u win greg love the videos hoping one day to meet u in person
Amazing how at this time the vid is out 7mins with many likes. Not enough long enough to watch the whole video yet haha. Showing some real love for your content
More content Greg you have Fans!!!
Going to my FIRST tournament on mayy, Over at Bass Lake
When things are good or when things are tough, it's hard to beat a Nikko hellgrammite. Especially in clear water on rock walls like that.
OMG I’m laughing so hard!!! You asking Mike if that’s for #1 & #2 ? 😂
Haha Mike is the man!
Greg.. Have a question... No.. I need help.. Do you tie braid to the barrel of your real directly? Thanks... Hope to hear from you soon... Thanks again... Jay
😊 Super jealous truck drivers at 12:20 🚛

Mike diy is pretty damn good
Mad respect for your editing and story telling skills
Hopefully you’re getting enough income off this channel to support your fishing

It's true.
Anytime I think "Greggy, your boat is expensive", I see that Aldy still has a Hobie and now has a bow mounted trolling motor. Does he have Livescope too?!
LOL! Aldy got that expensive taste
@@GregBlanchardFishing I saw a guy with a Hobie Outback and a Livescope stick gimmick and I'm like "what the actual fuck"
I thought the yak in the beginning was just gonna roll off the truck😂

Need live bait there i think.
Looking to get into some kayak tournaments this year. Dose it matter what kind of kayak you use?
