I have been looking for a very specific ASMR for a long while and this is it. Just a slightly lo-fi video of someone actually drawing in real time. I can hear the texture of the paper (I love it when you use pastels, too). The voice is calm and natural. Beautiful.
I just discovered your video on granulating vs staining watercolor paints just now and felt certain you must have studied art in the USSR as you knew to take the time to explain first the fundamentals in detail. It’s a formal and thorough way to educate that ensures the best possible outcome. I’m so happy to have found someone who can share with me this way of teaching!!
I love your accent! It is so calming! Another great video! The comment about drawing a pencil with a spoon is funny! Excellent drawing!!! The spoon looks amazing!!!
Wow. Not only are you a stunningly skilled artists, but in the seconds of this video, you present a tiny fraction of your history, then proceed to give us a simplistic object ( a spoon ), which holds a living piece of the recent past that few could really grasp the meaning of. Not only have you instructed us in art, but you have drawn us a story - in possibly one of the most rudimentary and effective ways. I will share your work and learn from it. Thank you so much for making these kind of videos.
During high school I began learning Russian. In college I continued hoping to study Art. Unfortunately the program was removed :( great to have found your Chanel!
I knew I heard a accent. You look Arabian so I thought maybe Azerbaijan or somewhere around there lol your voice is so soothing! I had a teacher from Romania (cugir to be specific) and she always made me calm. I'd spend time with her after school one on one just to hear her talk😂😂
Yes I do and it depends on what you are interested in. I have more tutorials on Patreon (you can find a link under the video) Patreon tutorials are for beginners and intermediate-beginners but more in depth than what you see on RUclips . And I am starting a mentoring program with Mastrius www.mastrius.com/ next group is taking off in the beginning of October. It’s more for people that have been doing some art and need some mentoring.
Forgive me for this Leila but... "in Soviet Russia, spoon draws you" lol. Fantastic video as always. I love to relax to your voice but darn it, I get all wrapped up in your instruction and just end up learning something ♥
Thank you :) it depends on what I am working on. When you add more shadows in one spot you should always go back and make sure that everything is developing well
spaceartist 89 which pencil are you talking about? You don’t need to get special pencils just use what you have. It’s more important to get the different softness/ hardness. I have a video on graphite drawing materials where I cover all the different pencils etc.
Maya May which one ? Are you talking about a putty eraser? Watch my video on graphite drawing materials I cover all the erasers and tricks you can do with them there. It’s linked in the info box under this video 😄
Yes i see but a photo in the upper corner of the screen from your point of vieuw is interesting. On the other side I realy love your oil painting. Your Girls power, the colors you use with the contrast of the black background, all the details in the jewelry and the transparency in the fabric is so delicate. Please more videos with oil painting.
Seeing all these comments from dudes who are thirsty for you crack me up! Like, how must that make this girl feel, getting lusted after so publicly when all she's trying to do is make some art tutorials. But I do like how you talked about how much people who do art practice and how a picture that you see is likely the result of 20 years of practice. I don't know why, but the idea of artists "practicing" never occurred to me. I always thought that they were just naturally talented and that the pictures they create were just the result of some God-given talent. Knowing that that isn't the case is immensely comforting, and also kinda mindblowing.
Haha thank you so much! :D Yes it's the same as playing a musical instrument or learning a language. Talent helps but the desire to learn more and get better through practice and tuition are the things that will make so much impact! :)
A For ASMR haha I had a look at his video his accent is not real 😂 it’s the kind of accent that you get in movies when someone is trying to play a Russian character. 😂👍

Leila, is an Arabic name, means the dark night، one of many meanings. But the dark night is the much preferable one to me.
Yes that's true, that is one of the meanings :)
This is an interesting vidéo but you should show us a photo of thé spoon when drawing
I wasn't drawing from a photo in this video, I was using a real object that was next to me. You can see it in the beginning.
